This is an excellent tripod-based screen. I recommend it to others.We love this screen. It's fairly sturdy, the screen is a great material, and it's easy to set-up and take down. It has a handy notch at the top of one end of the screen frame so that you can keep it from swiveling all around when moving it after take-down for storage. I have no trouble setting it up alone.Most importantly, it handles projector images well. Our Epson 2030 looks wonderful on the screen even with some ambient light from nearby windows. We tried it outside with some ambient light as well, and it looked great there too.Keep in mind that the screen will have a strong chemical/rubber-type smell for the first few uses. That fades with time, but it is very noticeable (especially in smaller rooms) the first few times you use it. We noticed it getting better after about the fourth use. You could accelerate the dissipation of the smell if you left it set-up for a while between uses.This is a great screen if you're looking for a tripod-based screen. I recommend it to others.

Shop carefully. The screen itself may be fine, but the housing arrived dented, and the tripod is made from the flimsiest material possible. Note that to return this item you need to send it to the seller and out-of-pocket. I tried to return the unit in the original box and the cost to ship it usps ground was double the price of original purchase. Buyer beware.

This is one heck of a screen, especially for the price! Delete Screens most certainly does a fine job of producing a projector screen that has minimal noise and am easy set up process. The screen arrived well packaged, and once out of the box, it took one person less than 10 minutes to set up. No wrinkles, no dark spots, no waves. Just set up the tripod, anchor in, and pull the screen up to its proper height. Easy! These screens are worth it and I'll have to get another down the road!

This is a great screen. Sturdy and well made. Very strong and attractive black metal casing. I like the fact that it is portable and not fixed to the wall. It can be moved around.I used to view movies on a 20 inch television screen. Making a move to this 100 inch behemoth is INCREDIBLE. I will never see movies in my house on a regular television set. I am using an Epson 8350 projector in Dynamic setting to project images onto this 100 inch Elite screen. With quality Blu rays connected via HDMI from Blu Ray player to projector, this screen is fantastic. I sit close to the screen (100 inches away). It is like having not just a theater in my room but an GIGANTIC IMAX screen.

First off, the picture quality of projected images on this screen is great. It comes in a nice zip-up case to storing and carrying. The unit is fairly heavy, however, and transporting it isn’t easy. I was a little frustrated because mine arrived with a pretty sizable dent in the metal casing of the tube the screen rolls in and out of. As heavy, long, and large as the product is, I decided it wasn’t worth repackaging and figuring out a way to ship something that awkward of a size back for an exchange. So, I just deal with it. The screen itself works great. I just make sure to ignore the dent below.

Set up takes less than 2 minutes. Great screen and the quality is good. I only wish there was an option to hang the screen on the wall as well, in addition to hanging it on a tripod.

The screen itself is ok. Colors are displayed true. The problem that I have is with the stand on which this screen is mounted. I have given this product two stars b/c the fundamental aspect of this screen, i.e. its "portable" feature is quite useless. I have tried several ways to get the screen to stay horizontal when it is fully extended but to no avail. The stand is unable to support the weight and width of this screen. It always tilts one way or the other. The only way that I have been able to get the screen to stay horizontal (and straight) is by using a stick to support one edge of the screen. The smaller versions of this same screen will work ok simply b/c the stand used is able to support the weight and width. Not this one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

The only real good thing about this was the price, and that's debatable.Actually.. the packaging was pretty good too.However.. the screen itself... SUPER cheap stuff, thin, VERY THIN. I bought a no-name generic made in China screen from Amazon a few days prior to this one, just for testing to see how a screen would work in my room and it was easily twice the quality as this one. I expected way more from Elite, I certainly won't be getting one of theirs when it's time to upgrade to utra short throw. This company does NOT deserve the hype. Do yourself a favor and get one of those generic indoor/outdoor tripod screens from any of no-name China brands. It'll be the same or better than this one.Update, after a few months, giving one star, the ripples and waves haven't gotten better, this screen is slightly better than a bedsheet stapled up.

It meets my expectations for the price. I wish it had locking tripod legs .
