Wonderful!
I absolutely love these! They are a bit snug, but I like that, because they don't slip at all. They are comfortable and have great grip for climbing. If you get an opportunity to try these on before buying, that might be helpful since lots of people say they are surprised at the fit. I love my Mediums, and I'm 5'4'' about 130 lbs. Hope that helps (it probably won't help, because bodies come in all shapes and sizes). My only complaint is that I can't wear them too long without feeling a little constricted. 20 min is about as long as I can go without feeling like a need a break.

These really help protect my knees during floor work, but I still manage to bruise myself up in this area anyway. ;) The gel material inside is thick and solid, and I no longer worry about the pain of my bony kneecaps on the hardwood. They really provide great cushion, and a few of the gals in my class love them, too! I've tried them a few times climbing up the pole and they are ok, but still not as sticky as bare skin. I also wish there was a small amount of vinyl or something on the front to avoid sliding on the floor when trying to crawl.Note: don't worry if when you put them on, they are a bit tight. With your body heat, the vinyl will loosen a bit and they become more flexible.I fantasize that Mighty Grip will make something like this for ankle protection for those of us who have bony ankles (and also need good ankle support anyway to prevent sprains). The gel cushioning would be great the whole way around!

They're ok
I bought a liquid par of these years ago and LOVED them. These are not on the same level as those. They work and are fine but are really bulky which I hate.

These are totally great for pole dancing which is what I believe they were designed for (well, for classes and rehearsal- I don't think that they'd look attractive out on a stage). The material on the sides gives good traction for when you need to climb up a pole, but generally doesn't get in the way of doing spins that involve hooking with your knees (though I often take them off when I practice that just to get them out of the way). While I mainly got them to save my knees from being covered in bruises as I was learning pole dancing, they actually saved me from injury, too. I was in a class that focused on learning different spins, and while the poles in the studio are usually stationary, they took the pins out so that they'd spin and we could learn the moves by focusing more on form than on momentum. This was my first time on a spinning pole, and I hadn't realized that I wasn't sliding downwards like I normally would, and because I was spinning so much, I couldn't see well enough to realize that I was actually about 6+ inches above the ground instead of right above it when I let got to land on my knees. The pad absorbed the full shock and I was left realizing how close I came to a serious double knee injury.SHORT VERSION: This product works great for pole dancing and will save you a bunch of bruises and has the potential, as in my case, to prevent injury. Great buy and well worth the money.

Perfect and Comfortable
I am a pole instructor and I love these! The knee pads are perfect for floor work and the backs of the knees are securely sticky enough to comfortably side climb and do tricks involving a knee hang. I love that I don't have to take them on and off during class. I ordered the size large because I have muscular quads and calves. It fit snugly and securely, just tight enough that I didn't feel any slipping, but not so tight it was causing muffin top or discomfort. The insides have a soft material that makes them very comfortable, but I did notice it shedding when I took them off. Not really a problem, but a little messy. The logo is located on the backs of the knees so it's not super obnoxious looking. I have owned many knee pads and these are the best I've had so far.

BULKY as miss Trunchbull
I think I mistakenly ordered a large, and I got busy forgot about them and now too late to return them. So, I think if they were the right size I could tell more but they are really bulky still regardless of size. Like I don’t think even if the size was right that I would like them. I still didn’t have enough grip on the pole with them, I tried them on and gave it a whirl.. But my main issue is how stiff and bulky. Like how can someone dance with the knee held stiff like that, it’s not flexible at all the fit is so weird. And so if I got a medium and they were tighter it seems like it would be impossible to bend my knee. Like maybe they are good for someone who does a lot of poling with really aggressive drops onto the knees, but for graceful stuff this isn’t it. And now I think I’m stuck with them. And they are way overpriced. You should make a better product and sell it for $10-15 you would sell more and have a better profit. Every pole related item out there is $50 and up and that’s ridiculous. I waited too long for these and they were a pretty big disappointment.
