Review: Good quality, robust and comfortable. - I have only worn this on hikes, runs and jiu jitsu sparring. If you use the arm strap and place it on the inside of your bicep it is pretty comfortable and after a while you forget it is there. It is a bit fidgety to use at first especially trying to turn it on and off, also the app is a little clunky and you can accidentally lose your data quite easily. Now that I'm used to it, it's effortless to use, just turn on, open the app and press start. I haven't tried it in the water yet, my son is a club swimmer so I'll let him give it a good try out. Posted a screenshot of info from a 2 hour Jiu jitsu session. It's good value for money, build quality is robust and comfortable to wear and easy to charge with good battery life. Would recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nifty device especially for swimming, let down by by poor battery life and confusing to use at forst

I use this to monitor my HR and track my exercise whilst swimming, indoor rowing and playing tennis. To use this while swimming (without having to take your phone poolside) you have to put it in record mode. Afterwards you need to sync it to the Polar Flow app. In order for this sync to occur your phone needs a WiFi/data connection (although I’ve no idea why seeing as the devices connect via Bluetooth). To monitor your HR, cals, etc in real time (such as on a rower) you use the Polar Beat app. None of this is made particularly clear in the manual, and some trial and error was involved in working this out. I get about 3-4hrs of battery life, way less than the advertised 12hrs. Once you work this out, and get over the battery life, it actually is a great little device. Easy to wear on your goggles whilst swimming, and extremely comfortable on the arm/wrist for other activities.
