These are very good tweeters if used properly. If you just parallel them with a speaker pair they may sound great, or harsh or hard to hear depending on the efficiency of the speakers you pair them with. I use these in a tri-amped system with an x-air mixer to control the feeds to the subs (four 18 inch yamahas) the mains (four 15 inch + horn yamahas), and the supertweeters (two of the PAHT6's), powered by a bank of crown amps. When I just paralleled the Pyle Piezo's with my mains I could barely hear them because the yamahas are so efficient. With the independent control of separate amp feeds though they can be seamlessly blended into the sound field and adjusted to add just the right amount of highs. I also add EQ to each feed separately. I use the Piezos to just add that upper edge to make the sound field more open sounding. If you ever listen to just the output of these, there is not much "music" coming through them. It's mostly higher instrument harmonics, sticks hitting cymbals, and cymbal sounds in general. Nonetheless, when mixed right they add exactly what I was looking for to my sound field.I find also that I end up using a fine power level adjustment to them almost as a treble control. I have a crown xli-1500 amp dedicated to these and have found no problems driving them.

I was going to spend a lot of money upgrading my speakers. I did not hear what I wanted from my tweeters. So I purchased one of these to test it. I then purchased a second because I was so happy with the first one. These are fabulous for the price. I could not be happier. Note that I did not receive any incentive to write a review. In fact my second arrived damage (possibly by the shipper) and it was replace in a couple of days without any problem.... what a deal! My music has a far better sound of presence for instruments that I could hardly hear before. They have made a significant improvement in my sound system. Remember these are tweeters... so people complaining about the range of sound just don't get it. Expecting bass sounds just shows you have no clue.

first off if you are some moron that thinks he is going to get a high end tweeter set with a box for 21 dollars your absolutely nuts in the brain...these speakers will add some crisp snap to your audio but they need a little juice to sound good...and certain songs sound better then others..some songs you can't hear them doing their job real well others you can hear them great...they are not the best...your not going to hear crystal clear audio like listening to a bose system for 21 dollars but they do the job if your not some picky dude thinking your going to get rockford fosgate quality for 21 dollars...i hate pyle brand and would never buy a subwoofer or car amplifier from this name brand...but these little tweeters aren't the best or worst for 20 bucks...i bought 2 of these and i like them and been into audio since the 90's...don't expect the world and you will be happy...listen to different songs and you can see the difference...sometimes sound like their not very loud...but they add some snap crackle and pop!

I put it on a 1000 watt amp which then made them worth it they are only getting 200 rms all high output. Sounds great on top of my sub box in my suv

I must admit, it worked the second time around. Bought this 5 years ago and after testing it, it went back to its box and keep it the garage because I didn't like the sound. But after 5 years I happened to try it again since my speaker selector is lacking one speaker to complete a 5 pair channel and that's how I listened carefully and knew it has to remain there, that it made me purchase another one on my back surround. I have Klipsch 280F, 250S, RB160M powered by 3060 aventage, my center is klipsch 450CA... all is considered medium end set up (if not HIGH) but this tweeters adds life to the ever so great tractrix horns my klipsch have. just make sure you pair it with a good EQ... I got the pioneer GR-777.Just buy this, $21 is not so bad at all.

This was a great addition to my home AV system for an unbelievable price. The highs now come through crystal clear. I own nightclubs so I know good sound when I hear it. These are not top of the line but they are really cheap and unless you are an audiofile you will not notice the difference between these and much more expensive speakers. They are much bigger and heavier than I expected. Quality product. Totally recommended for home use. Actually, I think that these are the best value for the money of anything I have ever bought on Amazon - and I buy a lot for both my home and my businesses.

Bought these trying to add to the high end frequency spectrum. Not a fan of piezo tweeters but for the price I thought one can not go wrong. That is pretty much the only good thing about these speakers (also the box that seems durable built). I am running a Marantz system (a PM-10 2 channel amplifier and an older Model 3300 pre-amp. Also running Bowers & Wilkins 702 S2 tower floor standing Speakers that sound pretty decent. Listening to some old vinyls is how we fill our week-ends and no MP3 player comes close to their quality yet... Buying these 6 way DJ Speaker boxes was supposed to add to the music experience.. Nothing like that. They are way under-powered and the sound they produce is equivalent to what you used to get out of an old Walkman on a bad day.... I would have kept them for the box and just replace the piezo tweeters but the fabric that covers the box is just a dust magnet that will give you a headache within 1 week of usage. Maybe they can replace the tweeters with something more up-to-date and switch to a regular wooden box - that would be an OK item then... So sad. Really not recommended.
