What a great buy. It says "Professional Lightweight and Heavy Duty Tripod Dolly with Adjustable Leg Mounts". I would call it professional and it definitely is light, but I would say medium duty although I believe it will carry some weight. It is certainly a well built and sturdy unit. High quality, well machined, made of light-weight aluminum. The wheels are made of a high quality rubber with ball bearings, smooth and relatively soft. I haven’t observed any excessive shaking or noise on smooth surfaces. The leg mounts are easy to adjust and mounting the tripod is simple. I can bring my tripods legs in to gain height if needed and it remains stable. The foot print is about 32" x 32". It carries my rig with no problems. I use it to move from shot to shot. I believe it would work for moving shots on a smooth surface in a pinch, but we all know this is not always the best approach to moving shots. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a light, inexpensive, quality tripod dolly for daily use. I hope this helps. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Worth the buy.
After using this for a few times over the past year, I can say that this is one of those tings that it's nice to have...when you don't need it...but when you do...It shines.I have used this for shooting in gyms for school events, and arenas for robotics competitions, and it performed flawlessly. The wheels lock, but you need to press down hard on the lever. The fact that this folds up to become portable is amazing. It adjusts for multiple size of tripods, and different tripod footings as well. My old one had rectangular feet, and my new one has round feet. This handles the both without a problem. I have also used it for shooting and rolling at the same time..Footage came out amazingly smooth I'll include a link to it as soon as I find the cable to transfer from camera to computer.

Practical and portable solution!
This is a very practical and portable tool. It essential lyturns any tripod into a dolly. It folds and unfolds easily and is easy to transport. It's pretty durable and the wheels roll well on many different surfaces, though you will see the initial pull when you start movement..,especially turns/swivels. The only issue is sometimes the tripod legs pop out of the vice but it says it fits ALMOST any tripod so that's to be expected. It's certainly a steal for the price. I've purchased two!

Easy to set up and put away.
I use this product for (indoor) collimation of my telescopes. I purchased an astronomical laser collimation tool that mounts on a camera tripod. Collimation involves placing the tool at an exact focal distance from the optical tube. It is MUCH MUCH easier to place the tool correctly when the tripod itself is mounted and secured on the Dolica. Once exact focal distance is attained, the wheels are locked, and the whole rig is much more stable than a tripod alone.I have also found that this product is useful for binocular astronomy. Binocular astronomy, with heavy binoculars, requires a fairly stable and tall mount (so you don't have to stoop when the binos are pointed up). This device can lock the tripod legs so that they don't need to be spread fully apart, which makes the tripod taller. In addition, with the wheels locked, the Dolica provides a much more rigid and heavy base, that is quite stable. Combined with a video pan head on the tripod, this dolly provides an inexpensive and nearly optimal solution for common problems in binocular astronomy. Finally, it is easy to set up and put away, but be careful of your fingers and the skin between them. They can easily get pinched.

Substantial dolly for the price
I was pleasantly suprised when this dolly arrived--it was much more substantial than I anticipated. All cross rods are aluminum, and it has a heavy, firm feel. As expected there is some plastic to be had here and there--most notably in the shoe clamps that hold the tripod feet in place. I can see this as a point of failure, so be certain not to tighten these beyond a solid finger torque. They will hold nicely.Wheels are indeed a semi-hard grey plastic, but not the really hard injection mold types. This allows a bit smoother and quieter movement, and unlikely to break or develop uneven areas on the wheel face. With an even surface such as tile, sanded wood floors, polished concrete, etcetera, there is a nice glide. The resistance is initial when beginning the move so be aware.I am using a heavy Manfrotto 058B tripod, which just itself and the head weighs out at 14 pounds. With the camera, two monitors, a Neewer rail system, and other stuff it likely comes in at about 30-35 pounds, and this dolly handles it like a dream.

High Quality at a Discount Price!
I purchased this dolly to use with my Dolica CX680P108 68-Inch Proline Carbonfiber Tripod with Pan Head and my Canon EOS 50D 15.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens . It worked great at a wedding where I was doing some portraits in several locations and wanted to maintain the same picture height. Also, I could easily move the tripod closer for smaller groups and further for larger ones. The build quality is very nice, and the wheels seem solid. Best of all, they are very quiet when you move the dolly around. This would make an excellent addition to a video setup for panning and moving around. The wheel action was very smooth.Overall, a great product and a great price!
