this product was easy to find and a grand slam home run at nearly half the going retail price (plus i would have paid tax and additional mark-up here at home in a gun shop). I looked for instructions and they were there but it took all of 3 seconds glance at them to figure it out. less than five minutes later my scope was mounted on my, now bear ready, "x" frame s&w 500 making it the perfect modern "cape gun" for large north american game. this seller rocks! fast delivery, great price, solid product and good reputation. if this is what you are looking for.....USE THIS SELLER! the only thing that would have brought this from a 99.9% excellent experience to perfect would have been if it were made of stainless steel like the gun.....but hey! the seller TOLD ME "ALUMINUM" UP FRONT! super sturdy construction.  Weigand Smith & Wesson K, L, N and X Frame Revolver Scope Mount. Super quick change out for SW 627 but... One of the screws started to strip out during installation. I only used it one time for two days to test the idea of a Holographic site on a revolver and most likely will not use it again, but it held tight for 2 days and 600 rounds of 38 Special. Be sure to use a high quality tool to install and uninstall, and. Lot of forward pressure to keep the Allen screws from stripping.

First time purchasing a weigand did my research on the internet and it was well worth the investment on the 629 talo edition 44 mag I've put about 50 rds through it and it does not budge and I love the fact this one has a recoil lug on it and that was the reason I decided to get this I am very pleased with it well worth the money

Easy mounting. Screw holes aligned perfectly Red dot reflex mounted easily into slot. Bought a shorter version for another S&W as this length is unnecessarily long for a reflex sight.

The Weigand mount is top quality, however, for the X frame 460 the Staniless Steel model would've been the better choice as the tremendous energy of the round made a noticeable distortion where the scope mounting crossbolt impacted the lateral groove after only three shots. Partly my fault because I didn'tloctite the scope bolt. I did loctite the rail to the gun. After applying loctite and re-installing the scope the rail held up for 17 more rounds. Nomovement equals no distortion.

Well made and good fit, a little on the expensive side but it works and looks good on the pistol. I would recommend it.

The. Easy to install and and I like the solid feel.

Not much else to say! Good price, it fit perfectly, and it has made it through about 300 rounds of 357 magnum with no issues so far.
