Can sterling silver be worn and kept in overnight or 24/7?

I have sensitive ears and I wear sterling silver 24/7 with no problems, although I only keep small earrings in overnight. I wear these two tone hoops for about 15 hours a day. Really comfortable and no problems. Love them.
