I purchased the plastic version, and eventually they all broke. These ones are great, thinner and they hold more hangers.

Excellent product. I've used several variations of this idea. This is by far the best in terms of sturdiness and ease of use. I use them for heavy jackets in my coat closet and they take the weight easily. The closed loop design means hangers don't fall out when jostled or lifted. But the loop is large enough that one doesn't have to fight to remove a garment. I caution against any design with an open hook design. With those you'll simply end up with a pile of garments on the floor of your closet.

I am so super impressed with these! They were exactly what I needed to free up some space in my closet. They are so thin .. metal not plastic...well made and cheaper than most of the other options. Plus they have a swivel hanger which was a plus for me and gives easier access.

I really don’t know if these save that much space after all. I have really thin velvet hangers that save me more space than I thought! When I had hung items on these, it seemed to have take up just as much space since the clothes stick out. Ended up returning because I didn’t find this very effective!

We originally have a couple of very old plastic hangers that are heavy duty so we put them in our camper. We looked for the plastic ones online but discovered they were very flimsy and weren’t heavy duty like our old ones. Also the plastic ones only hold 5 garments. Found these metal ones and we absolutely love these. You can use both sides of the metal hangers giving you 12 slots. These also accept all hanger sizes as it will take the thick plastic clothes hanger. We have a small walk in closet and it is very difficult to see all our clothes. Bought the pkg of 12 and categorized our clothes. So much easier to see the garments now and definitely saves us space! Highly recommend.

Product was nifty, just didn't work in our closets

33 years ago, we moved into a house with very small sized closets. I bought multiple plastic hangers which I used to transport winter and summer clothes down to the basement storage. I added to the original ones that had started to break since plastic degrades over time. The newer ones, 5 yrs, are cracking near the rod also. I was surprised since most of the 20 yrs+ were still good. The first metal multiple hangers were very sharp in places as well as being open rather than enclosed Os. They are ok for coats, but dump everything being carried, ironed shirts on the floor, from place to place. These are superb. Not too heavy, not too sharp, not fragile, and each spot is enclosed. Clothes can be hung on each side, but I like mine to all hang on one side. I have ordered another 20 and will soon order more!

I like the metal hangers better than plastic ones and I order some from here and loved them so I came back to order more and found these that were the updated ones of the 1st ones I ordered, it said smoother edges to keep clothes from getting snagged or whatever, (which I didn't have that problem with the 1st ones) I just ordered these because well they were updated lol, now these are not bad at all, but they take up a little more room than the original ones because of the loop design and they twist out a little. So I just prefer the original ones over these. But like I said still good product and sturdy so far. That's why I gave 4 stars
