Fresh Mamey Sapote (Set of 3)

This fruit is amazingly good! It reminds me of candied yams and sweet potatoes at your Thanksgiving dinner. Only this one is healthy for you & you can eat all you care for! The fruit is huge! It's so well worth the price. I highly recommend that you purchase your fruit from Tropical Importers because they are fast with their shipping, extremely courteous & respectful to their customers, and they understand the problems that arise when shipping produce. I live all the way up here in Alaska and these fruits are being shipped from Florida. I had a couple rot in the box by the time it arrived to me and I told them my problem and they were kind enough to send me more in place of what rotted. I was amazed because these fruits are expensive. They are even sending me different samples of other exotic fruits that they carry. Tropical Importers certainly gets my vote when purchasing fruit online. I don't know where else you can get great service like this especially long distance.

No flavor and hard as a rock I tried to see if will mature to enjoy fruit All three stayed as hard as a rock I will never order fruit from Amazon or this company what a waste of money

Loved it. I was craving for some Mamey in the US. It is very difficult to buy it in the west coast, so I decided to try it. It arrived in perfect condition, no damage to the fruit. They were big and ready to eat. Excellent flavor. It definitely hit the spot. It tasted like baked yam, but sweeter. I will buy it again.

2 of them came out kind or rotten already, very poor quality looked like it was growing mold and I pciked it up my fingers almost went through it. The 3rd one was not ripe at all super green still waiting for it to see if it will be good. Package came and was left out in the rain as well shipping company did a poor job. I have a lot of experience with this fruit and nothing compared to what I have been used to. I threw 2 of them away and left the not riped one. Waste of money...

Absolutely,100% perfect in every way. I have been waiting literally years to try a Mamey Sapote and my experience couldn’t have been better. One was deliciously ripe, which I shared with some family members (it was their first time too) and all four of us were in agreement that it was absolutely delicious. It was a great experience all around and the price was more than fair. Buying from this seller every time. Thank you SO much!

***UPDATE***Seller replaced fruit, this time all fruit ripened and was delicious. Very good customer service. Parents enjoyed eating the Mamey and froze some pulp for milkshakes at a later time. Thank you! Sent the Mamey Sapote to my parents as a gift, 1 out of 3 fruits was good, sweet, delicious, according to my mother. The 2 other fruits never ripened and were inedible. When cut open they looked bad and seeds were germinating. Reached out to seller, received quick response and was offered to correct the problem by sending replacement. Great customer service! Verdict still out on whether the new fruits will be good and worth the purchase. Gave 2 stars because customer satisfaction is still pending. I will update post.

Only the largest one was good. The fruit was creamy and delicious. The second largest was okay. The smallest one was no good. It was extremely hard on one side and the fruit never ripened. The product was not worth the money spent on it.

I've had these in California before and where much cheaper. One was very soft on arrival but bitter. The second one was left to ripen for 6 days and was still very bitter. The third one was very hard and left for 10 days and was moldy inside and the seed had started to sprout.
