I purchased this as a reference to use while preparing to work with the teachers in my building about grading practices. I love that the authors present information in the context of the past 100 years. I also appreciated the suggestions. This is a critical thinking book, not an inspiring book, but it is full of valuable information to help a reader narrow down your own ideas on grading.

Grading for Equity provides sound guidance on the flaws and limitations of the current 0-100 scale as well as researched based suggestions on how to improve grade accuracy, reduce implicit bias and move students back to a focus on learning.
