No sirven
The Geeni Wi-Fi smart motion sensor does not work, buy 20 of these, and the blue light stops working, and I have to remove the battery, so that it works again, and will come back after a while and not work, and this happens in the 20 sensors, after a day or three days.when it passes in front of the sensor, it does not turn on the light, so it does not send a signal to the APPAnd when I remove and put the batteries it automatically connects to the wifiand when the blue light does not appear in the application as it is in linia.of these 20 sensorsI only have one of my properties 6 where I liveand 7 sensors in another houseand in another house 7 sensorsFor a total of 20 sensorsI have the same problem with all sensorsand doing you could in my housewith a sensor 5 feet from the router that is an orbit that covers 5,000 square feet,I have it in Internet 2.4GhzI don't use the 5GHz network, nor do I have it configuredI use it with the Geeni application and I did it with the Smart Life application, and however it does the same to me.The batteries that are included with the sensors in the purchase, came as if they were all depleted, because all the marks in the application as they were at half or less charge,Then, spend $ 40.00 on new batteries and do the same, and quickly mark all the sensors, after having new batteries such as those that are half-charged.I also already reset the smart sensor on the reset button for 6 seconds, and update the firmwarePermissions and notifications for the Geeni application in my phone settings are activatedAccess to the location of my phone and the application are well activatedAlready the update of the connection of your phone to the WiFi network, the router, and my cell phone. The WiFi signal is a good constant of 150 megabytes. After doing all this I still have the same problemIn my opinion, the sensors are defective or use up the battery too quickly, so it does not turn on the light after 2 or 3 days.

Works, but could be way better.
Works only via the geeni app. There is about a 4-5 second delay between movement detection and whatever you link it to being triggered. There’s no way to increase the delay for no movement. For instance this is in my garage and it turns on the garage lights, but if your in the garage but out of range or just not moving a lot it will turn off the lights pretty quickly.A feature to add a response delay to the smart scene would correct this so once trigger the light stays on a minimum amount of time.

Would buy more
Device is easy to install. It detects motion every time. Only complaint I have is that if you use it as an occupancy sensor it is delayed about 10 seconds before turning the lights on. So that is my reason for the 1 star taken away. Other than that it works as it should.

Would be nice if motion is what set it off!
I beta test products for companies so I know my way around smart devices and how motion sensors should work. I own sever different brands that do the job fine but I wanted something to control my growing Geeni collection of color smart bulbs. This thing falls way short of all expectations and even basic function. Don't get me wrong I love the Geeni products but this one needs immediate work. It fails to capture motion but will intermittently decide to light up the light no matter whether there is motion or not! This was a gift that I now have to take back and return which dissapoints me.

Bad choice
This product came with a depleted battery the response time was so slow you could feel around for a switch in the dark and turn it on faster. Doesn’t pair easily probably due to the depleted battery my guess is previously sold product. I bought the hue motion sensor instant on money well spent. And just in case you were wondering I have a 1 gigabit fiber optic internet connection that is blazingly fast. This device works off of cloud based software that is very draconian. Buy any sensor that uses a local hub your performance will be better at least acceptable.

It's not worth it
The battery was half full when it arrived. The motion sensor has a very short range so you have to put it close to the zone you're trying to capture. You cannot deactivate it if lets say you have it in your house you cannot set a timeframe for it to operate or tell Alexa I'm leaving and it starts motion sensing. I'm going to use it for now since I can put it right now where I can use it but will definitely will upgrade asap.
