FaithfullFAIWEB50 Upholstery Webbing Stretcher Beechwood 50mm (2in) Capacity

I used this webbing stretcher to reweb a vintage sofa. It was easy to use, it didn't break, and having the dowel attached was a life saver. I am an old lady and was able to get the webbing taut.

This should be obvious, but check the size of the webbing you are going to use against the size of the opening. I didn't and it doesn't fit the 3" webbing I had... but it got the job done. The spindle is attached with a string, so I don't know how that would hold up for regular use. But for my first time webbing and stretching, it was great for 5 dining chairs.

Bought this to use as I needed to repair our outdoor furniture the backs of which were wicker and had deteriorated in the AZ sun shine. Got the webbing on line and after just a couple of try's I became very proficient at using this cool little tool. Easy to use and very reasonable price. I could not of done nearly as nice a job without this tool.

We brought this to do a mid-century modern couch but we found that it was not necessary for this project but we are keeping it because we do other mid-century modern chairs which it will come in handy on.
