The heads don't torque out like many of the competitor items and there is a brown version of this screw that's horrible. This "lime green" version is the best! Better than the square head backerboard screws as well. I was very disappointed that the product wasn't available for an extended period of time. Thankfully they're back and hopefully for good. A box of 1200 lasts me about 4-5 bathroom depending upon size of shower. We only use Hardi backer board and never skimp on materials. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You won't get "screwed" using these! *by R***T on December 20, 2012* I gave these screws four stars because of their design. They have a very flat head with raised grips on the shank just under the head to help it hold in the cement board. I knocked off one star because not all screws embedded fully in the Hardiebacker cement board that I was using in a ceiling application and some screws stripped. Now that being said, I am just a do-it-yourselfer that may not have been using the proper techniques so it could have been user error. Overall these screws seemed to have excellent build quality and design and I would highly recommend them to anyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply the Best Cement Board Fasteners Out There !! *by M***N on March 24, 2013* These well engineered screws are the best I have found and I have been using them in my tiled shower building projects for a few years now. The screw head is large and countersinks easily into the cement board, making for a secure application. The coating is a very effective waterproofing and the bright color makes it easy to spot any missed fastening spots. What's more the plastic container is well made and useful for storing other things after all the screws are used up.
