For its price it works amazing! Yes it didn't fit on every bottle but remember its in metrics not standers but it will works great on ever bottle u us just will be a wired fit. It's fall in Ohio so all windows are close and the house gets super dury I had this baby running for the first night in a 10 by 15 room and didnt get up once in need of a drink! I can say its just for this reason but its forsure worth the next to nothing price! But only down side and it sounds like a trickling hose, put some music on and pass out and its never there lol

Broke quickly
I bought this with the intentions of using it for my dorm room because of its convenient size, however, it does not work as expected. A very small stream flows out of the top, so it's not very practical. It can work well for a desk space for about two months. After two months of use, it stopped working.

Stopped working in 2 months
I ended up making a special container to attach this to for a greater use time. I used it about four-six hours a day 5 days a week. When it worked, it worked quite well. Not sure if I got a bum device, but it's pretty much dead now.It started to make a buzzing sound, followed by periodic functionality, followed by sporadic spurts of mist.I would recommend to anyone who wants to still buy this, use distilled water and maybe you'll get 6 months out if this product if you are lucky.

Awesome for me!!
From the sounds of it, it seems to be a hit out miss, but for me it has worked great!! I use it to raise the humidity in a room with sub tropical plants and it really puts out a lot of mist!! One key thing I must point out is that the humidifier will last A LOT longer if you use distilled water as hard water build up will hinder/ ruin the oscillator over time! I run it for pretty much the entire day every day without issue! Would definitely recomend!!

It works, that's the main point.
It works, that's the main point. But I had to tweak the plastic wick holder before it produced mist. It sat for an hour and 1/2 making noises that sounded like it was trying to work before I finally tried to see what might be wrong. the plastic holder works with a twist together fitting...like an old-fashioned pressure cooker, or camera lens mount without the button. It must have come loose, but after I tightened it it worked right away.As others have mentioned, it doesn't fit the bottle I chose for it...a heavy glass Kombucha bottle.. I figured that would not tip over so easily. The mist lasted well into the night. I added some water around two or three, though it probably would have been OK to leave it. Don't actually know what would happen if it went dry, and that has me worried. It's supposed to cover 5 sq meters, which is 53.82 sq feet....my small bedroom is 143 sq feet, but coming in after letting it run for the morning did seem to feel better. Now I need to buy a humidity monitor! It was listed as yellow...I didn't even pay attention to that...but it turns out that there's a blue light in it that makes the water glow. Might be nice as a night light, but I actually would rather not have it, and wish there were a way to turn it off.UPDATE:Well, I found out what happens when the water gets too low, I guess. It was off when I woke up, and there was water all over my night table. It wouldn't work again until I dried it out completely. Now it's working fine, but, as I see someone else mentioned, it's a good idea to have your bottle sitting in something to catch theoverflow.UPDATE 2:As of a week or so ago it only works for a few hours before getting the cap all wet. Since the first time it happened I put a band-aid over the USB connection, so that doesn't get wet, but the thing is already not working well enough for me to bother fussing with it most times. So that means it was useful for maybe 3 weeks. Not worth even the few bucks it cost, especially if you are concerned about the environmental impacts of manufacture, shipping and disposal.

Sounded good in the abstract, but not so much now
I guess if you used one of those short, squatty water bottles, this might work ok. The filter that goes down into the water is only about 4 inches long, if that. So in a tall water bottle, once it gets to the bottom of the filter, it quits working. Plus, the top portion of the item does not screw onto the bottle so it if gets knocked over, it spills. Not worth it.

Pretty good product!
It works great, I wish the wick went deeper into the bottle though, it only reaches half way in there. They didn't mention the fact that it lights up when its plugged in, which is annoying as I wanted to use this product at night. It runs for roughly 8 hours before it turns off on its own (usually doesn't run out of water, but will if you start at a low level in a water bottle). Overall, I really like this product. Its durable, its fun, and it gets the job done.

Died after 5 minutes, not like previous version
I had an older version of this that lasted a year, and liked it enough that I wanted to replace it after it died. This new one was awful, the top did not screw onto on my standard water bottle, so it kind of rested askew, ok whatever - it worked for about 5 minutes. Then it just stopped. Hasn't worked since. What junk. I had read the reviews but decided to try it anyway since it was cheap and I had success with a Bottlecaps humidifier in the past. Do not waste your money. The seller I bought from took 6 weeks to deliver and the box was a little squashed.
