Best 4x6 replacement I could find.
Set out to upgrade the front dash speakers on my 1996 GMC Rally van, which requires you to drop down the steering column and completely removing the entire dash board from the vehicle, which is an all day job.Originally purchased a set of Pioneer TS-A4670F speakers from Crutchfield.com that turned out to be a big disappointment as they did not sound good and failed in a month. This led me to take no chances on the next set of speakers as I was going to have to pull the whole dash out again. So, with lots of reading, I chose to go with these Infinity Kappa 4x6 plate speakers. I must say that I can't say enough good about these speakers. They really perform and sound great and the build quality looks top notch. My system consists of a Sony deck with these Infinity 4x6 plates up front, and a pair of Kicker 4x10 speakers in the factory location in the rear of the van along with a Rockville SS8P 400w 8" Slim Under-Seat Active Powered Car/Truck Subwoofer under the passenger seat. Its loud, its clear, and it has awesome bass.

3 ohms = more power = louder play back
In a jeep TJ high volume is tough on speakers especially with the top down at speed. These kappas help get more from your existing tuner with less than 4 ohm resistance. Better drivers and materials help produce better sound.

will fit 91 k1500 dash
they didn't just drop in, there's insulation on the firewall side. took some wiggle and jiggle, but they do fit. also just barely clear the grilles, but i had mine turned up pretty loud and the woofer surrounds were not hitting, but just barely, just a whisper. they ran "just ok" off my kenwood BT228u's internal power, an amp will be needed to wake them up, but i like what i hear so far. will be ordering another set to see if i can wedge them in the rear pillar location. also going to attach some sound transparent cloth to the grilles to give them some shade. sun beats down with the windshield acting like a magnifying glass. destroyed the previous speakers, hopefully some shade will help these last the rest of my trucks life.

Good value
Good product for the price, the sound quality is very good don't expect too much bass though. They are still 4x6 either way you look at it

1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ Replacement Speakers
I installed these on my 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ- they sound amazing! Decent bass and good treble considering the small size of the speakers. I paired these with a set of Infinity 6 x 9s installed in sound wedges behind the seat and now am debating if I even need a subwoofer. I am driving these with a late-model Pioneer and no distortion up to high volume on the noisy road with no top on the Jeep. They are a nightmare to replace in the Jeep behind the dash (I have a rollbar so access is a problem) but that is no fault to the speakers. No regrets in the purchase at all and the price was the best I have found for Infinity Kappa 4x6s.

Amazing sound
The dash speakers in my 2002 S10 finally fell apart after 10 years. They were the Infinity Reference, and I was quite happy with them. So, looking for new speakers to replace them. I came across these 4x6 Kappa versions. Since I enjoyed the Reference series so much I ordered them. These Infinity Kappa 4x6's are a mighty fine sounding speaker. Very detailed. Not bright at all. Quite smooth in fact. Using them with a JL HD600/4 amp and a Kenwood Exelon head unit. They honestly rock.If you are looking for a replacement 4x6, I cant reccomend these enough!

Fell apart
Magnet fell out of one speaker before I finished installing the speakers. Only held in place with a tiny dot of black glue.QC has really diminished from all manufacturers it seems. Shame on them, I wanna see my dollar go further than a pretty box.
