After a day, they are comfortable. They are a little wider than expected so if your foot is narrow, the front will overlap when you synch the laces tight enough to secure your foot. For mine, the lacing meets in the middle. The heel is a good height for all-day wear. The arch support is a little lacking but that is solved by an insert. The sizing is off - I wear a 10, sometimes 9 1/2, and due to ongoing frustrations, I bought the 9 and the 10. The 10 was fall-off-my-feet huge, and the 9 is still a little big, but with no half sizes available, I’m keeping the 9.
