Works as stated
Was bigger that it looked. These are huge fittings. They do not have holes to insert wires. You have to use ring fittings on the wires to attach or wrap wires around the fitting. Works for what I needed on my 12v power supply build. Make sure you check the size when you order so you don't end up with a gigantic one like I did.

Easiest way to jump start a generator.
I installed a whole house generator. I considered all that could go wrong. Murphy is a frequent visitor at my house. Since I installed it myself, it's not that nationally known company whose name I will not mention. I decided to be kind to my neighbors and put it inside a noise abatement box. that makes it difficult to get to the battery. I got to thinking what if the battery goes dead just when I need it most. So I installed the posts outside the box that are wired to the battery. So, if the battery were to fail, I will just get the portable jumper from my truck and jump it off. Remember if anything can go wrong it will.

Plastic Cracks Easily
I have had two sets crack at cheap plastic insulators. I decided to switch over to the High Current 3/8" Thru Panel Battery Terminal Connectors for my 100 amp needs. ... I do not trust these terminals (my experiment mistake) that might work for you at lower amp needs. I suggest only using snug up tightness if taking the risk of mounting through your board; possibly with a dab of polyurethane glue; or going with one plastic sie might work (minus the broken plastic.
