Hubby had to modify it to fit my controller, as we ordered the wrong one. Pretty much as advertised, but I don’t know if I’d order again. Only because I don’t love the feel of it. Nothing to do with the product. Just personal preference.

This is not. This is a standard quality black frame, for way too much. You could probably find a cheaper deal on Ebay for a full shell, and honestly I find it hard to be "fair" towards this. It's $20, for the front case. Not even the side pads, or the rear battery house frame. This doesn't contain a controller, why does it cost so much when it's JUST THE FRONT PART?...Honestly, for the end price of buying this, you could probably and more likely buy an entire controller that would have that shell...

If you have a model 1708 controller, these fit & look GREAT! If model 1537, it will not fit!

Pros:- 5 stars for everything about this face plate.- Color is amazing, and doesn't look like just a surface paint job.- It is so silky smooth to the touch (note, it's still hard ABS plastic, so "soft" isn't really the adjective for this.) But, while you can easily glide across the surface, when you actually hold it as if to play, there is definitely a grip to it.- It's a LOT cheaper than buying a new controller, especially if yours works fine.- The purple/blue chameleon also perfectly matches the "PowerA Fusion Wired Stereo Gaming Headset with Mic" of the Cosmos Nebula color.Cons:- If you have never tried to remove the faceplate on your factory controller, WATCH THE VIDEOS - not just the first one that pops up in the youtube search mentioned in the listing, but also the next one where the gentleman swaps his factory plate for a woodgrained one (that video was more helpful). Removing the side grips from your old one will be the hardest part of the process. No reason to ding stars from this product because my factory controller was built to not come apart easily, but it was a pain.- Now, once you get to the point of having your old face plate off - the installation of the new one is a breeze. DO pay attention that you get it lined up right before screwing it on (if the edges aren't lined up perfectly, it will feel like it doesn't fit). You should also note that the screws will feel tight as you reassemble due to the new plate never having screws in it.Side notes:- Yes, it is a face plate, not a skin, not a snap over style cover, it is a replacement face plate that requires you to manhandle and disassemble your controller. Doing so is obviously at your own risk, and if you're a kid, you should probably ask your grown up.- It is also NOT a whole controller. It very very clearly says this. (Seriously, there is a bad review because someone trusted a 12 year old who claimed they found a cheap controller, and now the parent is mad that it was just the face plate, so they left a bad review... That is not how reviews work.)

I love these, they fit perfectly with no wiggle or noises. My issue is that you can not do the entire controller as they only offer the majority of products for the newest Xbox. Watch which product you order for, check the controller model number under the battery!!!

y’all there’s nothing wrong with this i used it on my old controller but i just bought a new one and it’s an xbox series s controller and i’m just actually so stupid and bought this same thing for the series s controller so buy this it’s great!

Looks amazing and love it, but paint seems to chip away easy in spots and shows whit underneath. Awesome product otherwise love the added grip texture with my rubber controller back

This unique colour looks really good on the controller, fits perfectly, same strength/flexibility as a genuine xbox controller top plate. Screws and screwdriver provided are really convenient. Easy to install simply watch a video of how to take swap it out - I'm glad I did because after 4 years of play my controller was filthy underneath so I cleaned it all out. Would highly recommend such a cheap, nice upgrade to a controller!
