I love this retractable dog leash. I have a big dog (60lbs) and it feels strong enough to restrain him if he bolts after a squirrel (yes, avoidable, still working on training). The reel rewinds smoothly and seems sturdy. I like the pause option when I quickly need to adjust distance and the case itself is small and comfortable-just the right angle to hold without contorting the wrist. The only thing I would add is some built in hole to clip on a poop bag carrier. My comments are in line with other reviews, so it seems like a consistent experience.

My dog is hard to train and I never wanted a retractable leash bc I wanted to be consistent with the training on walks. Four years later, I decided to try a neighbor's retractable leash. He was so happy to have more distance and actually it made me buy this in white. My dog is a 14lb dog. I bought the small. It works great. It has a locking mechanism. It's not too heavy and the clip is not too bulky. I love it. IDK what I was so afraid of. His training is coming along much better.

We like this leash very much. It's sturdy and our dog is very comfortable with it. I'm sure that it will last a long time. It's a very good purchase.

Loved it while it lasted, but I wish it was more durable. I have a 15 week old Mini American Shepherd who kept biting the leash and it snapped. Didn’t even last a month. 😔

Haven't really used it yet, but seems to retract very well. Didn't use because the harness I bought her, doesn't fit. She walked right out of it. I don't believe it was bought thru Fida, so don't hold that against them. It even came with it own leash (possible reflective, but I didn't use it. However the Fida retractable leash is quite nice, and if you have a dog the like to chew on the leash, they even provide a device to protect the leash. Very nice!

Great, easy to use. Does the job. Used it for first time to keep my dog on a leash at the vets office and everything went smoothly. Doesn't feel flimsy.

Good price on a retractable leash that works smoothly and is the perfect size for dachshund. It doesn’t get tangled up and it’s easy to attach to his harness.

I have had this leash for 22 months. It operated perfectly until half of it stopped retracting out of the blue. My dog is on the border between medium and large so I bought the leash for a large dog but he doesn't tug at all. He doesn't even say hello to other dogs he just plods along beside me. Neither the leash nor the mechanism has been exposed to any sort of dirt, muck, or water. This is the leash I use the least, not because I don't like it but because for long walks and hikes I use a hands-free leash. This one is just for quick loops around the block. You can see in the picture that no excessive wear or tear is evident but half of the leash is not retracting. I tried all of the tips suggested on the internet and I'm disappointed that there are no screws to separate the two halves of the leash so I can see what the problem is and try to fix it. At almost 2 years of use of course the warranty has expired. This isn't the most expensive retractable leash out there but certainly not the cheapest and I would expect more than 2 years of use. Maybe this was a fluke and you'll be more lucky because I had no complaints while it was working but I guess you have to consider you may not get many years of use from it.

Such a beautiful and soft colour, I love it. It works really well and it’s relatively lightweight, it’s a smaller one compared to other types out there which is exactly what I wanted. Love it
