Sashiko: 20 Projects Using Traditional Japanese Stitching

I love to do different projects w/fabric. This is one type of project that I find relaxing.

I liked this book since it has a lot of patterns, it is very colorful and the patterns themselves are big and easy to copy. Also, the projects are really nice with complete instructions. The last section of the book is a patten library.

It has some excellent projects to try. I was very pleased with book. It was in excellent condition for used bike.

This Sashiko book is a treasure. It is full of inspiring and easy to follow projects. I like the diversity of projects: from wall hangings to coasters, pillow cases and place mats. The book provides guidance on how to transfer patterns, as well as a selection of copiable patterns at the end of the book. I am extremely happy with this purchase, and it would make a great gift for any hand embroidery enthusiast.

I wish it would have more explicit and close-up photos .

I am using this book as a Christmas gift, so I haven’t actually done any of the projects. It looks like it will be loved by my friend.

Very thorough text to help learn the art of Sashiko. It was a great help with my jacket.

J'aime beaucoup ce livre qui regorge d'idées de créations.Les explications sont claires malgré qu'il soit en anglais et que mon niveau d'anglais soit très mauvais. Les illustrations et photos sont suffisamment explicitent.

Aqui na minha cidade é bem difícil encontrar este livro eu queria muito conhecer esta técnica Sashiko, o livro é bem ilustrado e com varios projetos, gostei muito , apesar de ser em ingles utilizo o tradutor do meu celular , claro que se fosse em português eu adoraria, obrigada Amazon

Beautifully written and a gorgeous book to flick through. The projects are practical and achievable. Throughly recommend this book as it is easy to follow and formatted beautifully.
