The sound quality from these 3.5-inch Pyle outdoor speakers is decent—not going to blow you away, but definitely good enough for casual listening around the patio or pool. They handle a variety of music types fairly well, with clear mids and highs. Don’t expect deep bass or high volume levels from such compact units, but for their size and price, they do a respectable job. Where they really shine is when paired with a more powerful amplifier. I’m using them with a 300W Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Stereo Audio Amplifier, and together they make an excellent setup for outdoor entertaining. The added power from the amp helps bring out the best in these speakers, making them sound fuller and more balanced across different volume levels. They’re weather-resistant and seem well-built for outdoor use, which is a big plus. I mounted them near my pool area, and they've held up well so far to sun, moisture, and temperature changes. Overall, if you're looking for affordable, weatherproof speakers and you’re pairing them with a capable amp, this is a great combo for enhancing your backyard or patio experience.

Working good so far. Nice sound for a small speaker. Easy to hook up to the speaker wires. There are some machine screws with nuts and washers included if you need them for mounting the brackets. I used the screws and drywall inserts I already had used for the other speakers these were replacing.

Utilized in a location not fully intended for purpose, these speakers have done well so far- they've not fallen off, come loose or had any problems. Did notice bugs taking an interest in the reflex ports - not sure if they've a screen inside to prevent further ingress. Even with a pair of piezoelectric tweeters, the sound is very heavily biased towards the midrange, but conversely the sound isn't harsh. Nice standard spring loaded connectors in the back, accept 14 ga speaker wire without trouble. The mounting bracket is plastic, and of adequate strength to mount the enclosures in any orientation. Mind blowing? No. To my expectations? Mostly. Happy with them for the price? Yes.

Nice and loud

The product is okay for the price but seems these have problems after about a week of use. The speakers stopped working unless the speaker was touched and that brought them back to life temporarily and then out they go when not touched. They were run on 4 channel mode on channel 3 & 4 with a 500 watt amp giving them about 100 to 125 watts each with the amp channels set to about 75-90% variably. They sounded good enough to listen to music in my car but I don't see these as my final solution even though the seller has replaced them due to the problem with this particular defective set. They were audible with 20 watts to each speaker but not loud enough to listen with my 10 inch woofers therefore I hooked them up with 125 watts each. These are rated 200 Watt speakers each. There is just some type of internal wiring defective. So 3 of 5 stars because this set didn't last after 1 week. :( Now I'll listen to bass only until I get better speakers for full range in front.

I am enjoying these speakers, small in size, but make plenty of sound, frequency response is what you would expect from speakers this size, if you are looking for thumping bass, continue searching. These have some low end, but the mid range and highs are really clear. Plenty of audio to fill my 12X12 deck and some of the yard. Driving them with a SMSL 50Wpc amp. More than adequate for the job. In 2 months, they have survived heavy rains and 100 degree temperatures. Great for the price.

For outdoor speakers not good, they only lasted one year. Considering Pyle is a “ brand-name speaker” I was very disappointed, the sound was very poor. I would not recommend someone by these speakers and I would never buy them again!

We are using this in a gym environment, so the zip-tie is for extra backup in case hit by a basketball. But the mount seems very solid and offers lots of flexibility. The speaker itself has screw-holes which the mount fastens into, so the mount could be conceivably ditched and the speaker mounted using the screw holes themselves instead of the mount. We are using the mount. Sounds fine. I'm not an audiophile. We just need to fill a gym with audio and these tiny speakers do the job for the entire gym.

It claims Marine grade but the connections are just a normal connections. I was expecting something like water proof connections but at least they sound good.
