This monitor gets blue or black screen when no signal is detected? i would like a monitor to show static for fpv purpose.Thanks

it does go blue but it takes a few seconds of static to send it- I havent blued" out within 1km on 1.28ghz once with this screen in 10+ flights. satisfied that i didnt pay for a high priced screen

How do you "manually" hook up the blue wire to make it switch between video inputs? Will giving it +12v make it switch from A to B input?

The "Blue" wire is only activation circuit to switch ON the monitor (TV) when your vehicle is in reverse (R). The chrome button below the screen does the switching between A and B.

It should, I am running mine as a ground telemetry monitor for a drone FPV unit it is working fine a 11.1 LiPo batteryI hope that helps, any 12v power source should run it
