Stops pests and drafts after I installed it on 2 of my exterior facing doors. Just cut to length and drill into door. I used a simple hacksaw I ordered on Amazon, and had it cut and installed in less than 30 minutes. I just wish I would have bought and installed it sooner! I could feel the heat come in during the day from the bottom of my door, and could see mice and roaches crawl through at night. After installing this, it stopped those pesky mice, and felt the temperature difference as well in the room. The aluminum was easy to cut but sturdy enough to hold up to the slight pressure if the rubber gadget on the bottom pressing up and sliding in the floor when opening and closing the door it’s installed on. The rubber gadget is thick enough to create a seal with the floor, but soft enough to slightly bend when the door is opened and closed.

I've had this door sweep for a couple of months now, and overall, I'm very satisfied with its performance. The installation process was fairly straightforward, making it easy to get up and running quickly. It has been very effective at keeping the draft from my cold cellar from seeping into the basement. It has made a noticeable difference in maintaining a comfortable temperature in the basement area. The only minor issue I've encountered is that the rubber material is quite stiff and tends to catch on my uneven floor, making it somewhat difficult to open the door fully. However, I see this more as an issue with my floor than with the product itself. All in all, this door sweep is serving its purpose very well, and I'm pleased with the results it has delivered.
