Worth the hefty price tag!
I often play between 2-4 times a week, and a block of this stuff has lasted me the best part of 18 months. I get no kicks, and no chalk marks on the table. It's fantastic and totally worth the hype.

Best chalk by far
I had already been using Taom V2.0 as I always seemed to get kicks at important moments and I felt sorry for the staff who brush the tables after use because of the chalk marks. Taom leaves no chalk marks. However, I felt that with V2.0i wasn't getting the reaction I should from certain shots. I read up and discovered that Pyro cures this fault. So I made the switch and have all the benefits of V2.0 plus in getting the reaction I want. A couple of plusses also are that Taom chalk lasts and lasts. I would estimate perhaps 10 times or more longer than normal chalk. Pyro is a blue chalk also which means it shows well on the tip so you know you have grip (most cue tips are grey/green). I will not go back to regular chalk. Consistency at last.

Chalk
A really great chalk, bit expensive but worth it, had my table reclothed about a month now, and bought this chalk the same day, no chalk marks visible still, will never go back to the old chalks

Pool cue chalk
You get what you pay for, this is a quality product. Little or no residue on pool table cloth like other alternatives. Only used over an afternoon so far , very satisfied with product

Terrible packaging
For the price I expected more.. the packaging on this was terrible. Literally a bit of cardboard sellotaped around the chalk then put in a plastic bag, I’m surprised it wasn’t damaged. The chalk itself seems ok and doesn’t drop on the table like other chalks, only had chance to play a few games with it though so can’t comment on longevity or performance yet.

Pricy but the very best chalk
Yes it costs an arm and a leg, but TAOM chalk is so far beyond better than any other chalk it's not even close.... 1) it lasts six months or more. i have a table in my home, i play hard and every day at least an hour, and chalk after every single shot. Six months and the chalk still is mostly whole. 2) it doesn't leave chalk powder blasts all over the felt, at all. zero. 3) it doesn't leave marks on the cueball, so you can forget about missing shots due to skid. Only drawbacks are it doesn't fit into magnetic chalk holders (tho they make them for rounds now i think) and if you drop it it WILL roll straight under a cabinet or other heavy item. so be careful ;)

Amazed
Recently received my first Taom Pyro chalk and I have to say, I’m completely amazed by it. I’ve started using it on both my breaking cue and playing cue. I use a second ball break and what a difference this chalk has made…no more slippage and I’ve started getting massive breaks because of it. I’ve also noticed a big difference as well when playing. This is one purchase that I’ll definitely make again. Super product Taom.

Perfect
A small problem with import tax as the item was sent form the US but all has been solved with the vendor. The item itself is perfect and a big change from normal chalk. 100% worth it.

Game changer
Expensive for chalk? Yes! Worth every penny? Absolutely! It adheres to your cue tip really well and eliminates chalk marks on the table and kicks when you play. It feels like this chalk lasts much longer than normal chalk too, which offsets its higher ticket price.
