BelloccioMakeup and Tanning Airbrush System with FAIR Foundation and Blush Set

I wanted SO MUCH to love this system!! I had very high hopes that this would produce a look that would really flatter my skin and hair and give me a truly flawless look. I have skin that tends to be dry, but no serious issues like acne or wrinkles or redness. So I was confident this was going to blow me away! So incredibly sad that it did not. :( I did a ton of research before purchasing, and watched every single Belloccio tutorial, as well as several other generic airbrush makeup tutorials. But I just was not pleased with how the makeup looked on me. I followed the directions to a "T" and wound up with some strange caking effects after an hour or two. I tried experimenting with no primer, a different primer, thinning the makeup a little... and still after an hour or two, I would notice some places where the makeup was caking oddly (like my nose). I tried setting spray. I tried high definition powder. Still had this weird effect after a couple hours. I tried shaking the foundation for three full minutes, as it seemed like something was sort of "separating" but still could not get a look that was flattering or lasting. I tried every configuration of spray pattern/speed/pressure/distance, and felt like no matter how lightly or heavily I applied this foundation, I felt like it made me look older. I especially struggled to apply the product near my eyes, as the blowing air feels cold and no amount of scolding myself could keep me from squinting a little, and then the makeup would be only on the "squinty lines" haha! Trying to blend it quick with a beauty blender only smeared it and made a mess. So then I skipped doing the airbrush under or around my eyes and used my old concealer, which didn't blend with the airbrush makeup without getting gunky and cakey as obviously they weren't designed to go together. So then I tried applying the undereye concealer first and a tiny bit of regular foundation around my eyes, with the airbrush over the top; still not quite right....in the end decided that for the price of this system, I was not going to get a look that was an improvement over my old traditional makeup application. I didn't try the tanning aspect of the kit, as I had already decided to return the system and hoped to return as much value to the seller as I could. I wish you better luck than I had, and hopefully it is far more flattering on you than it was on me!

This is an update to my previous review. I tried the foundation, highlighter, and contour. the makeup applied beautifully and I was initially very pleased with the results. However in just a couple hours the makeup had worn off. I have tried using setting spray in the makeup but haven't noticed much difference or staying power. The Airbrush and compressor were easy to use and if the makeup had durability I would love this product inspite of the tanning fiasco. *read initial reviewI have tried numerous times to return the product but continue to get the run around. It is a 3rd party seller fulfilled by Amazon!!! If your thinking of ordering it to try but not 100 percent, don't do it, it's not worth the hassle of trying to return it if you don't love it.

It’s started spraying constantly all of a sudden. Otherwise I really like it. Less is more, but not not worth lasting less than nine months.
