Worked fine.
Inserted long screw into Insert Nut before installing. Then hammered Nut into place by striking long screw with mallet. Sometimes the Nut went in crooked, but the screw was long enough to protrude from the ladder so I could grab it with a vice grips and force it to the center, thus reorienting the Insert Nut properly.

RV ladder fix
Much better than the factory brass used inside RV ladders. Was able to replace all the hardware on my motorhome ladder and it is better than new now.

It takes alot of work to get it in correctly
Works great but very hard to get in.Not an easy job.

Hold Great in Square or Round Tubing
I used these to secure 1” square metal leg cross supports on an old Webber grill that I was refurbishing. Although they’re designed for round tubing, they worked perfectly! They’re very well made and hold “weld” strong.
