RecPro Charles 28" RV Euro Chair Recliner Modern Design RV Furniture (2, Mahogany)

I ordered two of these to replace a small loveseat in my home and they fit perfectly in the area where the loveseat resided. They were well packaged and arrived without damage as so many large boxes often have. They assembled easily with a couple of bolts but we had to oil the foot rest latch on one of the chairs to make it easier to close. Please note that the chair will tip over if you don't get out of it gently, as the base is round. Use the arm rests to stand up and there is no problem. At 5.4 inches in height I have to curl my feet down to get the leg rest to retract. If I try to push with my lower legs it will not retract, but if I curl my feet I have no problem. Not sure if this would be the same for a taller person. Although the chair is not heavily padded it is very comfortable for me to watch TV and read. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

We Bought the pair to replace an old Lippert LovesSeat in our Grand Design Solitude.The chairs fit much better and not nearly as bulky! The color lighted up the RV. They look great and really light up the camper. Very lightweight, but not very comfortable. Especially for anyone over 6ft tall, since they are designed to be narrow to fit into tight places. The Leather is a little slippery and arm rests sit pretty low. Cupholders would be nice?!? It was already 99% pre-assembled, so final assembly was very easy. Fit easily through a standard camper door with no problems.

We have a small room and needed smaller profile recliners so they would not take up too much space. These definitely work! They are very attractive, comfortable and well built. Perfect for small - to -average-sized bodies. If I only had an RV to put them in......

Chairs look and feel nice, but the one we bought had a serious quality problem. The swivel mechanism came loose from the chair base on the first RV trip with the new chair. The swivel is attached to the base with some push in plastic pins. No screws, no glue, nothing at all to keep them in place other than a light press fit. We contacted Rec Pro and they advised us to glue the pins in place saying,”They must have missed that step at the factory.” Yeah, sure they did, a likely story. It remains to be seen how the chair holds up, but initial impression is poor quality design and manufacturing.

These chairs replaced the dinette that we had in our RV.Good value, quality seems fine. Comfort is the question. If you are fairly short, you will find the chairs ok. Tall, less so. If the padding on the headrest were removable or adjustable it would be very helpful. As is, it hits me right at my shoulder blade. Annoying. However, we're still finding the chairs considerably more comfortable than the dinette "benches" that they replaced.

The chairs are good quality for the price. To assemble was actually quite easy except one thing. Missing hardware I had to go buy due to very bad packing. Half of the hardware was there but appeared to just be tossed into the box. The other half of assembly hardware was not there. I gave it the benefit of the doubt that it just was shipping that made it go all over inside the box having to search for it when it was opened. I purchased 2 chairs and both were the exact same way. Missing assembly hardware. The hardware needs a package of its own and appropriately attached inside the packing. It wasn’t much assembly. Just a couple of cap screws, washers and nylon lock screws. It was extremely easy to assemble and all functions worked as expected. Other than that it was a good buy.

I really like these chairs. They are very comfortable and light weight enough to move around. They are in my living room - not an RV and are attractive. HOWEVER, the track under one of them was broken upon arrival. I glued it and that didn't seem to work out very well. The chair will not rotate beyond that repair. I was sent a new track, thank you very much, now it works great. However, the fake leather is wearing out after just 4 years and they don't get used that often. They are just for guests and the fabric looks awful.

Beautiful small space chairs that fit perfect. If you are tall these may be less comfortable but still not bad. I love how they recline, no power required and the streamline look and quality of the material has so far been great.
