Good quality product
After shorting out an electronic part on my trolling motor, I decided to install a cut-off switch so when I hooked up my battery charger or worked in the battery bank compartment, there was no way that could happen again. Works exactly as I expected. Like the "dust cover" on the key. I attached a piece of lanyard to the key and to the boat just in case it vibrated out on the road.

I Installed this Battery Disconnect Switch in my Sprinter Diesel RV.
I have (2) 100 Amp Deep Cycle Lithium LiFePO4 batteries in my RV, after seeing a few RV fires caused from shorted unfused wiring I decided it was time to install a cut-off switch. It takes some time and figuring out the best location closest to the Batteries and using heavy gauge cables that require some flexibility. Always use the negative cables with a Battery Disconnect Switch, the reason is the body and frame are Negative ground so no worries if a cable is pinched in an accident. This switch comes with two red plastic keys, locate with the key in the "ON" position because you'll want to be sure its out of harms way. The RED key will NOT remove from the socket while powered "ON" so KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN MOUNTING.

This switch failed!
Purchased 2 of these for disconnects on a pair of Sea Doos. Installed the first one and it failed after 3-4 hours of use and would not allow the 12V DC current to flow through. Had to redo the wiring to get the Sea Doo home. Have not installed the 2nd one and probably won't given what happened with the first one.

The factory installed battery switch in my RV was hot from poor contacts internally, which resulted in a voltage drop. These switchs have good clean contacts and no voltage drop,
