The tools included in the kit are all solid and work well. It would be helpful if there was some feature that would bind the blades in while using the hammer/pliers, but could easily be modified with zip-ties, string, or rubber bands if needed. The case does not completely cover the hammer, but does work well to carry it. The product would be even better if it included a scissors feature. Overall, this is a good value for the money and is perfect for the car, dorm rooms, and as a quick-reach/spare in a multi-level home.

I love this. Comes in handy in so many ways.Some one tired to remove my license plate from the back of my car, one of the screw was loose due to it. I grabbed this tool out of my glove back and tightened it back up with the flat head.

Purchased this for myself to stick in our vehicle. You never know when you will be out and about and need to do some weird thing.Not sure the hammer would do major jobs but could be used in minor applications. Not flimsy but not adequate. Item is priced fairly with other like items in its class.There was a small amount of regret in buying this, because I wish I had chose one more similar to my husband's which have pliers on them, but this one has many features for the price and I could recommend.

This is not the best portable hammer multitool you can find, but for 10 bucks it's not bad at all. It has reasonable weight to it and a good size hammer head. The pliers are very well aligned and pivot quite smoothly. The plier locking mechanism is just a simple metal bracket the flips over the handle and keeps it from opening. That's nothing fancy, yet effective and easy to use with low chances of failure.The tools inside are easy to operate, although they do not lock in the open position and tend to all come out together even when you try to pull out just one of them. That becomes kind of annoying because you have to spend time and effort on separating them every time.The body is covered with cheap plastic, which kind of ruins the look of the thing, but it is reinforced on the inside with metal plates. That is my opinion of the black version that I have, so I'd recommend getting the orange one, it appears to me to be much better on the eyes.Finally, the case it comes with is a simple and fairly thin nylon pouch that does a reasonable job securing the multitool and has a belt loop on the back. Again, nothing extraordinary there, but it does its job.Overall, this a good heavy duty portable hammer multitool. No stellar quality here, but it's average to above average and can come in handy when you don't have any other tools around.

I have been looking for a multi-tool that would work for me!I’ve used and reviewed other mult-tools but the main thing for me of wanting this version is that it had a hammer and pliers. Also, no sharp ends to worry about, when pulling it from its pouch.The multi-tool is 12-in-1 and features a hammer, hook remover, wire cutter, regular pliers, large knife, Phillips screwdriver, double-tooth saw, bottle opener, clamping grip, metal file with slotted screwdriver.Great for emergency situations, and at under $12, for me it’s great to have one in the car and one at home just in case.Overall, I do recommend this Vickay 12-in-1 multi-tool.

This multi-tool has a lot going for it. The build is solid and feels good and durable. Some of the tools stick just a little when pulling out, but it's not a big deal. It's a good little tool to have in a pinch. It's not large, think along the line of a little kid's hammer, but made of metal. The size and the case though make it perfect for a backpacking trip or to have in your car for emergencies. I like that It's got a wrench by opening up the hammer top. It's a pretty cool design. At the price listed, it's a good value and perfect for a gift.
