Needed to create an opening in a handlebar bag on my bicycle for wires to run to a controller and the bag didn't have an opening in it, so I added one with these grommets lining the opening. Work well, but I do wish that the screws that clamp the two halves together were a bit bigger. First of all in order to be able to work with them without feeling like you need a microscope to guide you and secondly, because I would have like to torque them down a bit harder and was afraid that these little tiny screws might strip out. But the finished look is very neat and clean.

The quality of the first set of Eyelets that I purchased was excellent. The second set, not so good. I installed the eyelets onto a Louis Vuitton Ursula bag, where the old eyelets popped off. The screws are located on the eyelet in the shape of a triangle. I used a Dremel tool with a burr bit to remove a tiny bit of leather at each corner of the triangle in the opening on the bag so that I could install the eyelet. The Eyelets covered the existing hole and overlapped the leather perfectly. It actually looked better than the original eyelets.

I need something sturdy to add a large eyelet to a jean tote. This eyelet attached well to the thickness and was large enough for me to slip a looped braided rope through. The look I wanted was achieved perfectly. I had previously ordered plastic ones and they would not hold together with the thickness of the jean fabric. Very happy with these and I know I will find further uses for the remaining 3 in the near future.

Excellent quality! Beautiful, sturdy, easy to install. I would definitely buy these again if a project so required. Arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. This was my first experience with this type of grommet. There were no directions that came with these so a utube tutorial was most helpful.
