Burt's Bees 100% Natural Lemon and Vitamin E Body and Bath Oil - 4 Ounce Bottle

I used to to use this oil when it came in big glass bottles which were always scary because they could easily break in the shower if dropped. I am relieved that the oil is now in a plastic bottle. but it is now also half the size of the bottle I used to use. This oil smells sooooo good. I like lemon scents and this a fresh squeezed scent, not like furniture polish.This oil is all natural with almond oil as its first ingredient,. It is yellow but there are no artificial colors so it just must be the color of the oils. It is not super thick but it does a nice job of hydrating dry skin. It is good on rough patches, feet, hands, all over really. I do not use it on my face but it is good on my hair to tame split ends. It absorbs quickly for an oil and leaves skin soft. It works best for me right in the tub after my shower. I use the oil all over my body as I am still damp. I gently pat my skin dry after and I am hydrated as well as very fresh smelling. Burt's Bees generally has some very good, natural products and this is one. It isn't my only product to hydrate my skin - I have tons of different types of oils, creams, lotions , and butters - but I do like it and I do keep it right on the shower so I can grab it after I towel dry and oil up. I also use a few drops in my bath. I have not had issues with it making my tub slippery. It's good stuff although not quite as hydrating as it used to be years ago for some reason.

Ok Burt’s Bees, I’m a licensed cosmetologist and skin care expert. I’m also certified in essential oils and I have to say this and your peppermint rosemary shower gel were my absolute favorite purchases in the last few months-I LOVE LOVE LOVE them and I only purchased them because they came up separately as “add on items” for other products I purchased unrelated to Burt’s bees but I’m sure glad they popped up as “add ons”. I’ve used your lip balm for years and I’m hooked as are most of my family, friends, and clients because I’ve recommended it and or purchased it for many. I am an amazon girl but have become almost a full time internet shopper for all my needs. So recently finding and trying several of the Burt’s Bees line of products has me so excited because you truly offer high end quality that exceeds some of the professional lines I can purchase as a cosmetologist as well as big name department stores “ famous high end brands” that come with a very high end price that I can honestly say after my extensive evaluation comparison that you off the better product. I am not an easy sell and I buy a lot of organic products and also I also customize some hair and skin care products putting together outstanding products to fit each individual need and Burt’s Bees was a super Find for me. My only regret is that I didn’t find your products sooner! So Burt’s Bees we need to talk. I would love to stock and offer your products, I’ve also purchased and tried many other items you offer and read up on your company, products, ingredients... so I look forward to working with you so,together we offer the best products at an excellent value! Lastly hers a tip for oil application: this oil can be added to your bath, or applied directly on your skin when you get out of the shower and /or befor bedtime. I do suggest using a damp wash cloth adding some oil then applie it spreads very nicely. You also may consider mixing a 50/50 ratio of this oil with A good quality body lotion, I recommend any of the Burt’s Bees lotions but the body radiance is my favorite. Outstanding products that will result in nourished, hydrated, happy and glowing skin. Try all of the products from Burt’s bees they do not disappoint!

I use this product on my skin after a bath or shower especially now that it's winter. It helps keep the moisture in and prevents the skin from drying too much after a hot shower. It has a nice lemon scent that is not too strong but should be noted if you're mixing it with other bath products. I usually just add this in the bath if I'm only soaking my body in plain Epsom salt after a hard workout. Adding it in the bath does leave some greasy residue on the tub that's why I knocked a star off. The residue however comes off quite easily. I just noticed that I would need to give the tub more scrubbing than usual after a bath when I add this solution, more so than when I use a bath bomb. Overall it's still a great product and does what it's supposed to. I will be using this a lot this winter season.

The oil smells wonderful and does help to moisturize the skin. For myself, it does not soak in very fast though so I can't use it very often. I find it best to use after a hot bath, when I can take time to let it soak into my skin before getting dressed again. It does help to apply it to damp skin - in the shower, while standing away from the spray, or after a bath but before toweling off. That seems to help it soak in a smidgen faster, but not a whole lot. I have the same problem with anything that has shea in it - it just tends to sit on top of my skin for ages, so if you have a similar issue, you can expect that this won't soak in super fast for you.

I have extremely dry skin, and I like this as a lightly scented moisturizer that I use any time, and the scent doesn't clash with perfume. This oil is also light & doesn't feel too heavy on my skin. Its added protection. I love Burt's Bees natural goodness, & I'm a fan of the product line. This item, like many others, is a winner both in quality and price. I would travel with this because of the small size. I recommend it and will continue to purchase it.

Worth it, absolutely beautiful product smells amazing and works wonders

Ich hatte bis vor einigen Wochen die perfekte Körperpflege von Burts Bees und nun ist alles aus dem Programm meine Gesichtspflege, mein Duschgel und mein Ölbad. Das Badeöl gefiel mir gerade so gut, weil es obwohl ein Ölbadsich dennoch einigermaßen mit dem Wasser verband statt nur in großen Fettaugen auf der Oberfläche zu schwimmen. Nun seit einigen Wochen bestelle ich es und es kommt stattdessen "nourishing body oil" aus der Linie Mama Bee. Ich habe jetzt den Lieferanten gewechselt und wieder das Gleiche. Okay, es sind die gleichen Inhaltsstoffe aber es schwimmt halt in großen Fettaugen auf der Wasseroberfläche und die Teile des Körpers, die ständig mal über mal unter dem Wasser sind wie die Arme sind voller Öl und meine Beine und der untere Teil meines Rumpfes bekommen kaum etwas ab.Ich fühle mich in die Irre geführt und betrogen und sage nur, in Zukunft könnt Ihr Euer Zeugs behalten.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first purchased this product. Through the years I have often used Burt's Bees with good to fantastic results. So I took the opportunity to order this lemon and vitamin E oil hoping it would help with my end of summer, dry skin. Once it arrived, I opened the bottle to a wonderful, light lemon fragrance that began to slow down my busy thoughts. I knew it was time for a lengthy bath tub soak to soothe the hectic day a way. Before I entered my warm bath, I put a few drops onto the my palm of my hand to gentley rub in the vitamin E, lemon oil, and sweet almond oil to nourish my skin from shoulders, breasts, tummy, back, and hips, to thighs, legs, and feet. My body immediately absorbed what it needed. I was surprised how just a little went so far. It's a very smoothe, easy oil to spread and message with. Once I was done, my skin felt rejuvinated and moisturized. There was no need to add an extra lotion later. Now every third day, (twice a week), I add this fantastic bath and body oil to either my bath or my shower routine. For me, this is all my skin requires for deep hydration to maintain its' elasticity and that youthful glowing look. Would recommend for all skin types.

I am a fan of this oil, which I use in the bath to help soothe my dry, eczema-prone, sensitive skin. @BurtsBees, I only wish it were offered in a larger, more economical, format.Note: Obviously, because it is an oil you submerge your head, your hair shall need to be washed or shall be "greasy." Be aware that some caution is needed as the oil shall make your tub slippery. I wash my tub using baking soda to rid the surface of oil, as well as to be sure not to have any toxic residue accompany me in my bath.

Huele muy rico, pero el olor no queda en la piel, tampoco huele mucho en el agua de la tina. Como aceite funciona bien, deja la piel suave. Hubiera preferido que la botella fuera de vidrio, se ve barato como para regalo.
