I live in Phoenix, AZ. As you might guess it gets a tad-bit hot in parked cars. I put one of these discs on the dash of my FJ Cruise last week. The dash has dimples like a golf ball. My GPS is still stuck to it. and it is still stuck to my dash. I am impressed. Even the "hi temp" tape for OK pike passes failed here in the Phoenix temperatures.Should I change my mind in the future I will update this. Till then it gets 5*'s

Did not work. Did not stick well. Pulled off with phone weight in 2 days of use.

First of all I didn't realize these pads were made from plastic. All of the pads I have previously used were metal. I placed the plastic pad on my dash and it's adhesive backing is holding fine. When mount the GPS suction mount to the pad it holds strong at first, (this is without the GPS attached to the suction mount). But after a short time the suction mount lets go. I have cleaned the suction mount many times and tried several things to get it to hold to the plastic pad, but it always lets go after a short period. I have never had this problem with metal pads. I would not recommend this plastic pad to anyone!

Found that on surface that is not 100% level the adhesive may come loose on a summer day and a heavy device.

I have been frustrated to find my Garmin on the floor of my car more times than I care to think about. No more! This product stays stuck to my dashboard even after a day of strong sunlight and heat. The Garmin feels solid--no wavering even when I am punching in data. Absolutely love it.

I drive an old truck that rides like, well, a truck. The windshield is too far away to mount the GPS on it. I have a small flat spot on top of the dash near to me and mounted it there. It's now much easier to read and enter routes. Since it's not on the windshield it doesn't get the brutal direct sunlight that ruins suction cups. And the GPS doesn't rattle around like it did on the windshield. This ended up way better than buying a new GPS.

When the disk can stick to the surface I put it on it was great. First time I tried to remove the mount the disk came off. This happened a second time and the adhesive was done with. Luckily I was trying to put this in a place where I was able to drill a hole it it and use a nut and bolt to keep it in place. Be cautious with taking off any mount.

It was ok while it lasted. Installed late June.Failed 7 weeks later. The cel phone and the holder came down together while I was driving.
