Delightful Read
I both read and listened to WHERE THE FOREST MEETS THE STARS. The voices in the audible version were excellent so as I read some parts of the book I could hear the voices in the words. The beginning of the book is definitely better than the ending. The endearing relationships and the love story between Gabe and Jo develop slowly with charming dialogue and intimate but not explicit love scenes. Ursa's character although a little hard to believe at times, shines through the whole plot, but Vanderah tries too hard to make everything fit together in the end. WHERE THE FOREST MEETS THE STARS is a delightful read and joy abounds in the end. I recommend this book to all the romantics out there.

Sweet and heavy at the same time
Not my favorite book but was insightful and entertaining. Didn't like the ending and at times I thought it was too slow. I almost stopped reading it halfway through but happy I didn't because it was all in all a good book. It just wasn't my favorite.

Breathtaking story!
This story is amazing, start-to-finish! The beginning is beautifully captivating, getting to know the amazing characters, flawed as they are. Halfway through, I couldn't imagine how the story would end, but the ensuing chaos felt like I was running headlong into chaos. But the ending was perfect, completely plausible and heartbreaking. I loved every word and every character, even Lacey! Don't hesitate to read this, but be prepared to stay up all night reading. It's THAT good!

Perfection
I think that this was a perfect , delightful story, which simply made me feel good. I became immediately nvested in the lives of the 3 main characters. Reading this book (and finishing in less than the 2 days it took) made me want to thank them for allowing me to accompany them on their journeys.I mostly read suspense and psychological thrillers. Sometimes I need a break from all that tension and anxiety. I couldn't have found a better book to bring me to a better place.

Intriguing Story Undone by Unnecessary Agenda
I really liked how this book started—it pulled me in right away with a unique story and interesting characters. I loved that it was clean but still intriguing, and I was honestly hooked for most of it.But the last quarter really lost me. It started to feel like the author had an agenda—very anti-law enforcement and anti-justice system. There were also some random comments about being anti-gun and little jabs at political beliefs that made it seem like being conservative was a bad thing. It just didn’t feel necessary and took away from the story for me.No matter what your personal views are, stuff like that doesn’t belong in a book like this. It distracted from the heart of the story and made the ending fall flat. I think it could have been a lot better without all that.

Want your heart stolen? Read "Where the Forest Meets the Stars"
"Where the Forest Meets the Stars" will touch your soul. A little girl who says she is from Ursa Minor in the Pinwheel Galaxy is so unbelievably lovable. "Ursa" steals the reader's heart, as she steals the heart of Jo, a bird scientist, as she steals the heart of the "Egg Man" next door. She is the loving balm for the troubled personal lives of both. The little girl seeks to create five miracles, and she does -- especially for the reader. The dialogue is realistic, humorous and touching ... this stuff that make all seem so real. If you like a transforming story with a good ending, "Where the Forest Meets the Stars" is for you.

Great book
An absolutely lovely little book. I'm actually really sad that I finished it and I will no longer be able to visit the characters within its pages. The Little Alien is one of my favorite characters ever. Definitely a book I would recommend reading.
