Great purchase and gift!
Purchased for a birthday gift, the sound was so nostalgic when my husband and brother in law turned it on! So fun! So worth it and a great throwback for a game lover!

Sent me the wrong color and it won’t play games.
Ordered the Atomic Purple Game Boy Color and they sent me the solid purple one instead and it also won’t play games. (I tested the GBC cartridge I had with a GBA first to confirm it worked and then tried it on the GBC and it doesn’t work. Initiating a return because of this. If they want to send me the correct color that I ordered, they can do that, but please also ensure that it works too.

Definitely worth getting if you wanna relive the 90s nostalgia
Powered on perfectly, little slower to power down compared to when they were first released in '98 but definitely a solid price and definitely knew what they were doing bringing this gaming history back to life. Plan on getting the Pokemon edition as well soon but for now I gotta wait till I get the games for it. The buttons click nice and clean though they were kinda dusty on the edges. The sound is irrelevant.

Just what I needed!
The Game Boy was in great shape and works fine. I was nervous to buy retro tech without seeing it first but it’s in great shape. The only defect I can see is a tiny chip off the select button.

Great Product
My fiancé was scared that the sound wasn't working, but he was turning the sound wheel the wrong way. Everything worked and it was just like how my fiancé remembered his old one. Thank you for a great product! I bought the extra case separately
