I love these bottles a lot, I have bought two so far and will most likely be getting more. They are a great size, on the bigger end of the spectrum. I have had smaller ones before and found myself constantly filling it up throughout the day, and this one is fairly large but not so big that it is a chore to carry around. I also love the size of the mouth opening, it is pretty wide and almost like drinking out of a glass. The screw on cap is great, it has large threads and not too many of them and so it screws on and off very easily and it NEVER leaks. The only problem I have is I keep losing the damn screw on lids but that is totally my fault. (However I do wish they sold replacement lids) I have dropped them a few times and it may dent here and there but not extremely and not to the point that it messes up the functionality. I will always prefer to drink out of one of these as not only is it way more eco friendly than plastic bottles, but cheaper as well. And I definitely prefer the durability of these over the glass ones that I have seen for sale. So I definitely recommend getting one, it's what cool people do.

I bought the brushed metal model to avoid any paint scratching.If you are unhappy with the cap, you can get other kinds (flat, nozzle, etc.) from Kleen Kanteen. It uses the same threads and ID. The wide mouth takes a bit of getting used to, as your mouth has to get wider as the water level in the container goes down.The wide mouth means that you can put ice cubes (not crushed ice, as in small mouth bottles) inside. I have not noticed any metallic taste from the bottle, as other reviewers have. It also gets cleaner in the dishwasher than small mouth bottles.It's not insulated, of course. It can be hot to the touch if you fill it with coffee, but you can slide a beer can cooler over the end. If you need a thermos, this isn't one.I've used this for mixed alcoholic drinks, tea, coffee, beer, and of course, water. The cap seals tight so that carbonated beverages don't go flat as quickly.The cap attaches to a carabiner clip, or you can just run a piece of cord through it.

I bought this to transport liquids to a glass free event. When the bottle first came, it did have a mild scent to it. I soaked it in soap and water for 24 hours, and it cleared right up. It didn't impart any flavor on my drink even though the drink sat in the bottle for about 4 hours before we drank it.Overall construction, though solid, is a little on the weaker side. The cap is plastic with a flimsy rubber gasket that I can see being lost or warping if washed in the dishwasher. The stainless steel for the bottle is a little thin. However, for the price I thought it was built well. It did what we needed to, I don't think it's a five year investment bottle, but it's 12 bucks. I can't complain.

Just got this water bottle (the stainless steel version) a few days ago. It seems to be a good bottle--it doesn't leak around the cap, no holes, etc. The walls appear to be a bit thinner than the Kleen Kanteen bottle I had before, so if you drop it it will certainly dent. But so did the $20 Kleen Kanteen.You have to take a bit of care when screwing on the stock cap. As one other reviewer said, Kleen Kanteen's sport top fits it, so I ordered one and that's is what is on it now.For $1.98 (plus $5.00 shipping) this is a great value. Much better than the leaky, thin $5 one I got from Wal-mart last year. I plan on getting one or two more to have around.

Purchased for the kids to take to sports practice and it works great for that. The material of the bottle is not like a Kleen Kanteen but much thinner than that. If you drop it and it's full, it will dent. However, it keeps the water cold enough to last through practice and at this price you aren't disappointed if it gets lost. Also, the wide mouth is large enough for the dish wand to get inside the mouth for easier cleaning (but not all the way in the bottle).

I got three of these for my wife and I as we're heading back to the gym this year. They arrived quickly and provide a safe vessel for our water without any kind of metallic after taste. My only complaint with them (and it would keep me from buying any more) is that the caps can come loose from the bottles with a very small amount of effort.If your heart is set on buying them and you're going to work an an office type setting then I would recommend them, however if your hiking, biking, or using them for the gym I might look elsewhere. 3/3 of the units we received could not be held/clipped to something from the ring on the top as they would dislodge with a small amount of pressure.If they could fix this issue it would easily be a five star rating and I would purchase more as to eliminate the use of plastic bottles altogether.

i've replaced my plastic nalgenes with this as my primary water bottle around the house and at work. cap seals pretty well and, while plastic, didn't smell like chemicals and doesn't impart any flavor or odor to the water.not sure if it's a standard cap/thread and would like to get a cap i can sip thru w/o removing every time. not a deal breaker.metal is thinner than more expensive or coated/painted models but hasn't dented or been an issue. opening is large enough to get a brush in to clean but not so large to be difficult to drink from. lip is curled over so no sharp edges or other manufacturing shortcuts.

I purchased the brushed metal 25 oz stainless steel water bottle because my name brand version was getting old, dented, and the paint was chipping off. To be fair, I had the name brand version for a few years and I'm pretty clumsy so it held up well considering how hard I am on the canteen. I am very happy with this purchase, the metal seems to be the exact same thickness, the screw top has the same O-ring type seal as the brand canteen, and most importantly this new one does not leak as feared based on other reviews. I figured for the low price I could take the risk and give it a try-works great! I chose the brushed metal because of my experience with other brand and off brand water bottles chipping, this one will not leave bright colors on my hands. So far I have only hand washed but there are no spots when washed and dried.

Excedió mis expectativas, en las reseñas en ingles leí más de una que decía que la calidad del producto era de un acero muy delgado o que se oxidaba muy rápido, en mi caso lavándolo como se espera de un articulo de acero inoxidable y especialmente dejándolo escurrir bien para que seque, no he tenido ningún problema, sólo en dos ocasiones lo he llevado por fuera de la mochila en las mismas le pegue contra un poste al bajar del transporte y en la otra un raspón contra una pared, pero fuera de un par de rayones en el metal exterior, ha funcionado perfectamente.

Es una botella de acero común y corriente. Después de un mes con ella me funcionó muy bien, no se me ha maltratado ni se le han impregnado sabores de las bebidas. Muy fácil de lavar y no tiene derrames, el material no se siente tan bueno pero es resistente, lo único que no me gusto es que a veces, cuando dejo el agua natural muchas horas, deja un sabor metálico ligero, nada que no puedas soportar.

Es tal como lo describen, calidad buena, buenos acabados sin ser de la mejor calidad, no es térmico "ojo" no tiene doble capa, de hecho en las instrucciones dice que "NO se debe hechar agua caliente, con tan solo agregar agua fría inmediatamente se siente en el exterior la temperatura del agua. Pero por el precio es un buen producto

Tengo 1 mes con la botella, la uso diario en el carro y trabajo. Los materiales me parecen buenos, se me ha caído tres veces y no se a maltratado, la tapa cierra herméticamente y puedo transportarla en la mochila. Tiene capacidad para 3/4 de litro, suficiente para mi.La recomiendo mucho, ya que por el precio esperaba algo de menor caldiad.
