It's OK, but hasn't become a go-to reference
These kind of reference books just don't work well on Kindle. After reading the brief, and somewhat disorganized text, the first time I wanted to look up a specific thing was an exercise in frustration. Many screen clicks, false starts, blind alleys - I found what I wanted. This would have been a much better purchase in the solid book form where finding a topic is a quick and easy matter of flipping a few pages. The text itself was more like the footnotes of more thorough music theory books, rather than any kind of solid and helpful text on its supposed topic, arranging music for Concert Band. And note that this is about Arranging - not Composing. The assumption is that you want guidance on adapting a public domain work rather than on the much larger task of writing and arranging an original work.

Six lessons are not enough
This book is really a pamphlet. Other than a few tips on writing for concert band, it really isn't a sufficient text for arranging for this ensemble.
