Works great
Works great. But please note that it's designed for doors that swing in. I put it on a door that swings out and the door hits the side rails and won't shut. I was able to trim the rails with a jigsaw and file them smooth. The ramp is strong enough to withstand the trim, but I probably voided the warranty.

This is great for a dog ramp!
I have a 12 1/2" rise from the master bedroom into the rest of the house. The 4' is perfect for walking up, but not in socks they slide or get stuck to the non-slip stuff. I have a dog with a torn CCL (ACL in humans) and she can't make that step without putting pressure on the injury so we got this ramp.I'm glad we went with the sold ramp instead of the folding. It has a short slanted lip on the sides that goes to the edge of the upper floor but if you don't get the ramp all the way over to the door frame the door won't swing closed. We move it every night so someone doesn't trip over it in the dark, we just lean it up against the dresser with a towel over the edge so it doesn't get scratched up and it's out of the walk way. It's pretty lite weight for what it is and since it's solid it doesn't wobble when you pick it up.Over all it's a great investment that you can take with you, it's not as portable as a folding ramp but you do what you've got to do to get where you need to go.

Solid ramp
Sturdy for use of wheelchair or walker. Just need to be careful with the side wall that can trip you if not paying attention. Other than that, satisfied with the functionality of the product.

Really good ramp.
Well constructed, easy to install. Installation for me was just getting it out of the box and putting it down. There are 2 screws if desired to screw it down, but I do not need them and it makes it easier to clean under it. The ramp is heavy so it isn't moving around in my situation. Way better than having one built with wood, which I did for my first ramp.

Great product priced right.
High quality affordable exterior wheel chair ramp. Also bought the SL436 model. These units are light in weight but the rated load capacity is 800#s. They were easy to install. They do take a little getting used to because you can feel them flex just a little when you roll up on them. The flex is only a sensation and not visible to the eye. They do not bend and mine has carried a combined weight of 428#s without any discernible bending. The price is right if you purchase them through Amazon.com. They are much more expensive if purchased locally. Some people have commented on the edge guard which is of course and absolute necessity. You wouldn't want a wheelchair rolling off the side of the ramp, would you? The edge guard is just high enough to be effective. It did require that I remove the external screen doors which were more trouble than they were worth anyway. If installed properly, the edge guards do not interfere with the main exterior sold core door.

Great ramp
We have 2 prairie view ramps, we liked the first one so much. They are so easy on my dog to get in and out of the house and can handle the human weight too. Built really well.

Very sturdy. Attaches with included pins or with screws
Very sturdy. Non-skid tape covers working path. The lip on left and right sides adds strength and safety. Be sure to study the size chart carefully, to avoid getting a ramp meant for a rise taller or short than what you need.

4' solid ramp from PVI is a great value
This ramp works well and is relatively light. The only draw backs I encountered are related the features of my house.I use the ramp for entrance into the front door (one 4-5" step").1. The sides prevent the use of my screen door. I have it propped in the open position, but will have to remove the screen door.2. The securing pins need to be longer for my application. I had to drill into the brick step for their placement, but driving a power wheelchair (about 320 pounds for the chair alone) flexes the ramp just enough to pop up the pins. This could be due the slight unevenness of my sidewalk and the porch. I will try a longer ramp that I am purchasing for loading into a pick-up bed to see if that makes a difference.
