I always loved the look of the TMP gold, but wanted one that was completely edible. This is seriously the best edible gold I have ever tried, and I’ve tried a ton! I did 2 coats on roughly 4 dozen cookies and still have more than half the bottle left. I tasted a cookie when it was still a little wet, the taste of the gold wasn’t great. BUT once they dried completely, I couldn’t taste anything but the cookie and icing. It did seem a little pricy for the size of the bottle, but overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I got the glamorous gold and it was the perfect color for my princess crowns! It was easy to work with and did not alter the taste at all. Two tips…1. Do not use white and then try to paint. It will not look good. I used yellow icing and it worked perfectly! 2. Make sure your icing is completely dry before painting on. I messed up one cookie and dented the icing because it wasn’t dry yet.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this to paint some fondant and chocolate stars and moons for this cake. I was impressed with how pigmented it was and had a very full coverage! I got so many compliments! Definitely recommend.

I bought this item to gild a drip cake. My drip came out gorgeous, and I used a cake brush to very carefully apply the gold paint. The paint was difficult to apply evenly, and it began drying so quickly that clumps formed when I would go over areas just a few seconds later. I'd reapply to try to get it even, but it resulted in a clumpy looking kind of mess. Even with these issues, the worst part was without question the taste.The taste was BAD. Like alcohol + paint thinner + vinegar bad. It was so bad I had to completely remove the drip layer, basically ruining the smoothness I worked so hard for. I tried to resmooth and cover imperfections with a lot of sprinkles and more piped icing. This item is non-refundable, so I'm stuck with an inedible, awful tasting mess I can never use for food. I'll probably use it for some crafts. The media could not be loaded.  This definitely surpassed my expectations. I made an Ursula-inspired cake and wanted to paint the shell on top gold. The paint separates in the bottle, so make sure you shake it before using it; once you paint, it won’t separate on your cake. As you can see, I painted over white fondant and you can’t tell that the underlying color is anything other than gold. I did three coats, but one would have been sufficient. It gives off a gleaming appearance, even after it dries! This is my first time using edible paint and I expected it to be like regular paint… that is not the case. It is runny and very messy, so be prepared for that. Even after it dries, it will come off on your hands if you touch it. While it is beautiful, the major downside is it is disgusting. That was okay for my cake because it was just for a decoration on top, so no one had to eat it, but if you are planning to paint the actual cake or your strawberries, you don’t want this paint. Looks blue when you squeeze it out but it comes out black. Good Quality.

Returns aren't allowed. Not worth it. Think twice before you buy these colors.

It is the perfect golden color. Has a bit of aftertaste, but not bad. Just don't go to heavy on it.

Brillient product easy to apply with a brush to sugarpasteor sugarflower paste, dries quickly too, making it easier to apply a second coat without streaking.
