Excellent presentation of information in an organized manner
Using this for surgery shelf and wards. Actually a very interesting read as well. It would be nice to have an additional table of contents that discusses the topics of each chapter. Currently, it lists them by chief complaint. The chapters start with a case presentation followed by a differential diagnosis, so I understand that a modified table of contents may spoil the cases, but maybe listing it in the back could be an option?Otherwise, the book is excellent, covers almost everything surgery related. The addition of perioperative management, more liver, and principles of fluid resuscitation/electrolytes would make it perfect.

Excellent text for a Medical Student Surgery Rotation
I have used both the first and now the second edition. They took a strong text and made it better. I will use this text to review before my internship.

Great Content, Poor Construction
The content of the book is fantastic but it’s poorly constructed. Pages are falling out of the book after very light use. It’s making it very difficult to read.

Missing pages
Kindle version is missing pages. Just go with the hard copy. What a headache.

Thorough book for surgery rotation
Excellent book to prep for surgery rotation.Beware that, if fulfilled/delivered by Amazon, the shipping is atrocious and book will arrived damaged. Would have given 5 stars but since you're also paying for the delivery service, it only makes sense to include the shipping should be factored into the rating as well. Really a shame.
