Teryx 4 Front Bump Seat with 4-Point Harness

This seat has a harness and plenty of cushion to keep your LO safe and comfortable while out in the side by side. The seat belts are a bit hard to get into place but other than that installation was easy. Very happy with the purchase.

This seat or at least the seat mounting bracket is made in china. Bolt holes do not line up. I ended up having to cut off the bottom of the mounting bracket and make my own which does hold up better.

Seat appears to be of good quality as well as the harness. Giving this a 2 star because of the difficulty in getting it to mount onto my Teryx4 and for the less than adequate instructions. The instructions and video shows a man sliding the mount onto the Terx4 and attaching the bolts easily. There is no way he used the mount the way it came to me and was able to do that. I saw reviews stating that the mounting bracket would not line up with the seatbelt bolts properly. I thought this may be just an exaggeration. I was wrong. I too had to grind and bend the bracket to match up with the bolts for the for the seatbelt. I also had to rig a way to connect one of the 3 bolts that connect the seat to the mounting bracket. This because they tack welded one of the nuts off-center on the underside of the seat. After seeing a “Made in China” sticker, I understood the deficiencies. Would recommend only if they fix the mounting bracket (which should be quite simple) and improve their instructions.

Extremely happy to get this for my 2020 teryx le. I got the machine I wanted and now I can take the wife and my daughter out together. Makes it allot easier to talk the wife into riding on the weekend 😀

The other reviewers are 100% correct, the installation of this bump seat was basically a nightmare. The included directions are just a few printed off pages of grainy pictures that give you little to no help on any part of the process. There are very few words to explain what the heck you are looking at as far as the pictures go. Just random snaps of this or that, good luck and figure it out on your own.Beyond just trying to decipher what the instructions were/were not telling you, many of the holes did not line up properly. A few did, but many did not.IF you can get it installed correctly (and that is a big IF), it does work and does what it is supposed to do. I would not purchase this again if we needed to.

The seat itself is great, but it was advertised for the Teryx (not as a universal). The bracket was a joke. There was no way to make it line up with the holes on the passenger side. You can see in the photos how the bracket came and also what we had to do to make it fit. It involved using a grinder and a drill. An install that should have taken 30 minutes or less, took two plus hours because we had to figure out what to do to make it work and then modify it. If you’re expecting it to bolt right up like many of the videos show- don’t! It will not! We are very disappointed in this product. When you pay $300 for something, it should not have to be modified to fit!

Sadly this seems to be the only style on the market. It seems good once it is installed but it was a chore instruction where very lacking and craftsmanship was sad for the price. I had to modify it to even get bolts to go In intended holes the nuts where welded off center and crooked.
