Too Hot to Touch
Upon opening the box, I assumed I was getting a steal of a deal with how fancy the box looked. Then, there was a box within that box that looked just as nice. I was very impressed by the packaging. The box included the hair dyer, two different end caps, and a piece of paper with description, instructions, warranty info, etc.The instructions didn’t really give much useful information. Nowhere on the piece of paper did it mention why you would choose to use one head attachment over the other. The biggest confusion was having no description as to what the buttons on the hair dryer were for. The images on the instructions did not match what was on the hair dryer. (See picture of the buttons – the two larger buttons both have the same symbols with no description)I put one of the head attachments on the hair dryer, then plugged the unit in. It immediately started running, so I had to use the trial and error method of figuring out which button controlled the speed and which button controlled the heat. The hair dryer had a good weight to it and wasn’t difficult to continually hold up to dry my hair. I’ve got medium length, fine/thin hair, and it took a little over 6 minutes to fully dry my hair. While using the hair dryer, and especially after turning it off, the black end attachment was extremely hot to the touch.Comparing to a Revlon hair dryer of the same wattage, they are almost identical in size. When using the same hot/high dry setting, the Revlon hair dryer only took about 4 ½ minutes to dry my hair. Not a huge difference, but worth mentioning. They both have around the same loudness while running. The most important difference between the two hair dryers was the temperature of the end cap attachments after using to dry my hair. The Revlon hair dryer’s end cap was 143F after I finished drying my hair, while the xtava peony hair dryer’s end cap was 256F!Overall, this hair dryer is just okay. It’s a good basic hair dryer, but I don’t know that I would pick it to use every day. The generic buttons on the machine and lack of instructions on what they were for was annoying, but obviously could be figured out after one use. I’m more disappointed in how dangerously hot the end piece gets after using it for just a few minutes of use. I typically have to switch positions of hair tools in my hands when I’m drying my right side vs my left side, but with how hot that end piece gets, it’s not practical to touch it to rotate it. I would hate for my toddler to get ahold of it after I use it and hurt himself (yes, you’re supposed to keep it out of reach of kids, but anyone with young kids knows how fast their little hands start feeling around on the counters as far as they can reach). If you don’t have young kids and have a high heat tolerance, the temperature of the unit while/after using likely wouldn’t be an issue, but for me, it’s a deal breaker.

Quick and Cute Hair Dryer
When my xtava peony hair dryer arrived I was really impressed with the box and packaging. With four girls in the house there was a little bit of an argument over exactly who got the blow dryer, but in this case mom actually won. I told them to come to my bathroom and use it because my current dryer is just about the same age as my youngest child.I have long, thick, curly hair. It takes what seems to be FOREVER to dry (left on it's own it is hours). I've always been so impressed when I get a soft shiny straight look at the stylist when they use their dryer but never wanted to spend that much money to get the "real deal" like the hair dryer used in the salon. This hair dryer is reasonably priced, lightweight, comes with two different styling heads and has a couple of different drying options as well as a cool blast which is something I need to handle my bangs. I have to say I was so impressed at how nicely and quickly my hair dried. I didn't even have to use a straightener after drying my hair. The cord was nice and long so I could sit down at my vanity while I dried it and I especially liked that even when using a higher setting it didn't give me the scalp burn I usually associate with a high powered dryer. The slight curve in the handle makes holding and styling easier as the dryer is quiet. The girls love it too and yes, I'm sharing it in my bathroom. I think I may have to break down and buy one for their bathroom so they leave mine alone. It doesn't hurt that it's also a cute, pretty pink color. One improvement I would suggest is either marking the buttons so you know high or low as well as the heat level. It wasn't a huge problem but I did have to play with it a little bit to get the right setting.

I have no reason not to like it/ I plan to use it behind the chair
I just received My xtava hair tools in the mail a few days ago. I've used the blow dryer once so far and I like how it has performed thus far. I have Natural very Dense Curly Ringlet/corkscrew hair with a medium Hair texture , with no color and or smoothing treatments done to my hair, and the length of my hair is about right above my braw strap straight and about a little past my shoulders curly. I used one of the (2)concentrators that came with the hair dryer. When I dried and prepped my hair for straitening I was pleased to notice the blow dryer is light weight compared to blow dryers I've used in the past. The heat of the blow dryer is excellent. My hair took about 12mins to dry. It has wonderful smoothing power. I used a round brush once my hair was about 90% dry and smoothed out my roots and ends and it was ready to used the xtava Goddess Flat iron I purchased! Im a licensed Beauty professional who is excited to see how long the xtava hair tools last behind the chair. If it can handle my hair it can handle most hair types.***update***I used this product professionally behind the chair the blow dryer didn’t last 3 months it’s burnt out.

Lightweight & cute
I want to begin by stating I have only had this dryer a week and so far I like it. It isn't very large but it's not exactly tiny travel size so it's in the middle somewhere. I would say that it is practical enough to travel with. I like that it isn't too heavy and it is simple to use. It has low & high speeds and it it has cool, warm, & hot temperature settings. The 360 degree swivel cord is convenient & makes it easy to move the dryer around without the cord getting twisted. The only reason I took away a star is due to cosmetic reasons & not functionality. There are a couple spots where the pink paint is chipped & white is showing from underneath (illustrated in my photos). Other than that, I am happy with this dryer so far. If anything were to change, I will update my review accordingly.
