Acceptable
Well its a telescope, and it works. I have nothing to compare it to as this is the first and only one I have had experience with, but I can say that the instructions rather suck and the adjustment of it is pretty difficult and also its a bit unstable, but for the money (rather cheap) its not that bad and a decent introductory piece for someone wanting to try out astronomy but not wanting to spend to much money. In other words I feel like I got what I paid for...

Great Buy
Bought this for my son's birthday a few months ago, and I'm very happy with it.Setup takes a bit of patience as the instructions aren't the best, but anyone with a high-school level education should be able to figure it out. The tripod is light and easily shaken, but any vibrations dissipate pretty quickly. If this review was based solely on build quality, I'd only give it 4 stars, but...I was very surprised at the power this thing produced. We're only beginners, so I don't have a many products to compare it to. However, the couple smaller-sized telescopes I've used before seem like BB guns to this 12-gauge shotgun of a telescope. Even on lowest magnification, Saturn's rings are easy to make out. A notch higher, and Jupiter's moons come in clear (even in the middle of the city). The EQ mount is easy to manage, and even with the cheap-feeling stand, vibration issues are negligible at lower power levels.Add the Barlow lens, and things get a bit more difficult. More patience is required to get focused and positioned correctly (which for me, is half the fun). When we were able to get focused on Saturn or a section of the moon, the results were great. The colors get blurred a bit, but there is very little loss of image sharpness. At that level, Mars is an obvious spherical shape, and we can see craters within craters on the moon.I had been eyeing equivalent Celestron and Orion products for weeks before my purchase (for $20-$30 more) simply for their reputations. The iOptron 6002 was a definitively awesome purchase for me that I cannot wait to take out to the countryside. This is a great device for a working man or woman wanting to transition out of beginner-level telescopes within a budget.Side note: I think it came with some software and other small mapping guides. I didn't even bother with them. For me, the Google Sky Map app is the only thing needed to find what I want to look at.

Missing Parts in the Shipment
It was missing some nut/bolts for the stand that we had to but separately. Once we got those we got it together no problem.

Gazing with a old geezer
Easy to set up great for beginners takes a little patience to get a planet in view my only regret is about 2 weeks later I bought a nice meade with electronics that listed on amazon for 1900.00 for a hundred dollars at an estate sale and it is amazing. But the ioptron is well worth the money will be giving it to my grandson soon

This is bad and causes me to miss my target sometimes
Has a dent on gauge that aligns scope up on far away objects. This is bad and causes me to miss my target sometimes. Need to pack more protection on scope and related parts to avoid damaging it during the rough trip.
