The Art of Star Wars Rebels: The Art of the Animated Series

I love this book, it provides more insight into the making of a brilliant show. There's a lot of great art, character designs and landscapes. I love it!

While I was incredibly disappointed to see Clone Wars end so abruptly, I quickly became a big fan of Rebels. As you would expect, this book contains a wealth of artwork created during the development and production of the series, and as much of the show drew heavily from Ralph McQuarrie's iconic original trilogy concept art, I had to pick this up. It doesn't disappoint.

This book is great, and gives a great insight into the design and back ground of the characters.

Sadly not the Art book I was hoping for. Limited in scope, and probably needs another 200 pages to make it of real any design value for any but the 'general' series observer.Basic entry description, if even relevant to the design production, with some (imho) glaring omissions (no Inquisitor's TIE). Some limited featured characters/things being given too much space, when main characters are given minimal.It's a beautiful, but very flawed book. Though still of some value at the £25 I paid for it.

This has to be the first time I actually regret purchasing an art of book. Seriously this might as well be one of those visual dictionary books for children, it doesn’t go into the development process what so ever, and simply dots art around the place... doesn’t list artists and often only shows the final product. If you look at the episode guides for each Rebels episode on the SW website, there is more info about the development on there (which is free to view) than in this twenty quid book. What a let down. I truly hope when they produce another Clone Wars art of book covering season 2 to 7 that they actually treat it with the respect it deserves, and also the reader with some respect at the same time.

Covers the majority of characters, locations, vehicles and props from the series run but misses on some major appearances.The book also falls short by giving just the final designs for the most part. It would have been more interesting to have seen more detail on different concepts as they developed characters

This is a great an in depth exploration of the development and art of the Star Wars: Rebels animated series.I particularly love the detailed spaceship illustrations and character development sketches.A must for any Rebels fan!

Increíble el nivel de detalle de las ilustraciones, ver y reconocer a cada uno de los personajes, naves y lugares hace que vuelvas a sentir que estás viendo la serie.

Dans cette album, comme à la télé, l’évolution de certains des personnages voir équipements/vaisseaux sont de rigueur.Le papier est de 1ere qualité, belle ouvrage par contre, le volume est seulement en anglais, à creusé!!!

Um material muito completo sobre essa que é, sem sombra de dúvidas, uma das melhores séries de Star Wars de todos os tempos! Só faltaram os model sheets do Lothal Cats para ser perfeito!
