Came in damaged
Thought buying "made in America" was the way to go... Rethinking this, the heater is flimsy and quality is concerning.

Effectively Heats 10x14 Basement Bedroom
I purchased this to heat a basement bedroom for one of my kids and, so far, it has done an excellent job of heating the space. The design of the product protects the heating mechanism from the clothes and other debris my kid deposits on her floor, so I don't have worries like I did with many space heaters. I put in a double-pole thermostat, so we have some control over how warm it gets and can turn it off when she's gone during the day. I will say the directions that came with the heater said to connect the double-pole wires to the, "white and black wire" in the heater, but all the wires in the heater are black, at least on the model I received. However, the diagram in the directions was clear enough that it was obvious which wires should be cut and connected to the thermostat wires, so no real problem there. I did have to drill a hole in the back of the heater so I could screw it into a wall stud, but that was because of where I had to mount it - no fault in the design of the heater itself, and it wasn't difficult to drill the hole. The unit comes with perforations along the back of the heater that worked for the other screws, which is a nice feature so you don't have to drill holes for most mounting situations. The unit did smoke and smell, as the directions from the manufacturer stated it would, for about the first 30-45 minutes it ran. Since then there has been no smell and it runs silently - cannot hear it at all. It does an excellent job of heating the 10x14 basement room, which gets pretty chilly during our winter months. Overall, the install was simple, it works for the size room we have it mounted in and the design and quality seem outstanding. Will update if any problems arise as I've only had it in and running for about a week, but very happy with it so far.

Only got a 4 star because of Instructions
Heater works well installed with the King thermostat, instructions terrible. Heats up fast, produces a lot of heat, thermo cuts off and on nicely. Made a few cracks and clicks when first turned on but otherwise no sound after running a while. Burn the the heater off, mid to high heat and open windows until smell is gone, does not take long. Pay attention to GFI circuit, I installed one ahead of heater, does not trip even when on high. Would buy again.

Small Room Heat
Have had it a few weeks now, but it has been to warm to really test it until today. It got down to about 50.It is being used in a 100 sq ft insulated hobby shed. I put in a double pole thermostat so that there would be a complete off. (Single pole there is no true off) Heated up quick and was nice and warm. No complaints. I have it mounted about 8 inches off the floor and seems to do a nice job. Also I did not notice any noise when the heater was on or when it was cooling off, which is nice.

Works Amazingly
Works Amazingly. I installed a Marley RCC10524C Cove Heater above the window and a door in my dining room and you can feel the heat coming down. I have it controlled with a Honeywell TL7235A1003 240V in-line thermostat that also controls the 6 foot King Electric baseboard heater (pictured below the built-ins). These two not only heat the room but also make the entire downstairs comfortable

Handyman Special
I am an electrician, and I have all necessary tools for the install. People whining about the install aren't being realistic. I ran a new circuit from my main breaker box, bought a thermostat, and some conduit and it works great in my second bathroom. If you don't have the tools for the job, hire an electrician. If you are handy, then a few you tube vids might do the trick.

Mixed feelings
Shipping was a mix up- one tracking number for items coming from Ontario and BC. 2nd fedex didn’t even try to deliver, just left a slip saying recipient was not home ( was home all day). Just installed heater and they seem to be working

Basic baseboard heater, installs quick and works well
It's a basic baseboard, I needed one that fit in the spot an old one had been for years and had been painted around and this was the correct size. Easy install, easy flexible mounting. Mine came with some scratches on one of the edges but nothing horrible or easy to spot, no biggie.

Good for the price
Every thing is to be expected. Quality could be better, but given the cost it’s fine. Except one thing... I didn’t like that you are supposed to put holes in the back to screw it to the wall. Some factory slits to put the screws through would be nice. Seems to work fine though, looks decent on the wall.

Defective factory wiring
Installed this heater and it quit working after a few days. Upon further inspection I found that one of the factory made connections connecting the high limit cutout and the element had overheated to the point the connection became open. This was not only an inconvience but also a possible fire hazard. The heater was also was very noisy after installation, took some time to get it to stop buzzing. Overall very poorly put together.
