WORKPRO 14-Piece 1/4" Drive Socket Wrench Set, Metric 4-13 mm

First things first, Read The Instructions. For those complaining about the retaining ball breaking or coming out, you must press the back of the ratchet post to release the socket! If you do not, you will break the tool! Having said that, it's a handy tool set for a good price. Works well, even applying significant force to tighten a bolt. It also comes with a handy caddy for the wrench, extender, and sockets. Well worth the money.

Very good for price

I just picked up this WORKPRO 14-piece metric socket set and it’s super compact—perfect for tossing in a glovebox or small toolbox. The chrome-vanadium steel feels sturdy, and the 72-tooth ratchet gives smooth, precise turns even in tight spots. The quick-release button makes swapping sockets a breeze, and the 76 mm extension bar helps reach recessed bolts. For £15, it’s a great value—high quality build without breaking the bank. The sockets release easily and fit snugly on the ratchet, and the plastic case keeps everything organised. I haven’t had a chance to stress-test it under heavy torque, but for everyday DIY and car jobs it’s exactly what I need. Pros: ✅ Quality chrome-vanadium construction ✅ Excellent value for money ✅ Truly compact size—easy to store ✅ Quick-release ratchet for fast socket changes ✅ Extension bar adds useful reach Cons: ❌ Case could be more durable ❌ Not for heavy-duty professional use • Durability: The chrome-vanadium steel construction feels robust. After several uses under moderate torque, there’s no wear or play in the ratchet head. • Ease of use: The 72-tooth ratchet is smooth and precise. The quick-release button lets you swap sockets in one click, even with greasy hands. • Storage capacity: Everything nests neatly in the plastic case. It’s slim enough to fit in a glovebox or small drawer without taking up much room. • Functionality: Includes sockets from 4–13 mm plus a 76 mm extension bar—perfect for most DIY and light automotive jobs. • Quality: Finish is clean and chip-resistant. The ratchet handle grip feels solid, not cheap or slippery. • Fit: Each socket snaps onto the drive firmly with no wobble and releases cleanly without sticking.

Handy little socket set, looks well made. Haven't used yet but for the price can't go wrong

I recently purchased a socket wrench and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The build quality is outstanding, with a solid and sturdy construction that gives me confidence in its durability. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and efficient, allowing me to quickly and easily tighten or loosen bolts without having to reposition the wrench each time. The various socket sizes are clearly marked and easy to change out, making it simple to select the right size for the job. The handle of the wrench is ergonomically designed, providing a comfortable grip even during extended use. This, combined with the ratcheting mechanism, makes it a pleasure to use, reducing hand fatigue and allowing me to work more efficiently. Overall, I highly recommend this socket wrench to anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality tool. It is definitely worth the investment and has quickly become an indispensable part of my toolkit. Five stars

Great set and value for money

I just wanted a small socket set to stick in the car. Used it 3 times so far. All three to change bulbs. 2 headlights and a high level brake light. Worked flawlessly. No complaints here. If you want a cheap socket set that you will use occasionally, this is good.
