Belei by Amazon: Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid Serum, Fragrance Free, Paraben Free, 1 Fluid Ounce (30 mL)

This is really between a 3 and 4 star product. There are issues with the ingredients that worry me.Belei Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid Serum has me very conflicted. It is a very good combination product of Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid but I don't think I would repurchase this at the listed price and especially for something that can be found in much cleaner combinations for a lot less. The ingredients are blended well but there might be issues for those trying to avoid several of the main ingredients in this product. There are a lot of preservatives for Vitamin C and this product contains a lot of things that don't make my skin happy.I have used this on my face for two weeks now and I can see that it does a good job of filling in fine lines and reducing some of those issues but I have been using vitamin c and hyaluronic acid for a long time so this product just continued that part of my routine. The box is nicely done but the container feels really cheap, like drugstore skincare and for this price, I would expect a nicer bottle. It is shipped with a cap and then you can use the included dropper.Here is my breakdown of what this contains.Water - no issuesDipropylene Glycol keeps the product in liquid form and actually helps the key ingredients penetrate your skinSd Alcohol 40-B (Alcohol Denat.)- denatured alcohol which to me is a big red flag since it can dry the skin out and is a known irritant.Laureth-23 - works with the propylene glycol as an emulsifier - the combination of these two ingredients can cause irritationsSodium Ascorbyl Phosphate - this is Vitamin C (a very cheap ingredient too!)Phenoxyethano - preservative because of Vitamin C -Vitamin C has a very short shelf life. After using the serum for several nights, a rash developed over my face and neck. My skin was red and tender. In fact, it felt and looked like a burn. After I discontinued using, the redness disappeared and my skin returned to normal.

Found this serum after seeing a headline that Amazon has created a skin care line, and being an Amazon junky I had to try. Not disappointed. I have combination skin and recently have had a lot of dry patches. I've used for two nights and my skin feels fantastic. This serum absorbed quickly, is almost matte like, and my face feels very smooth. I'll have continue to use and update this post in the future, but loving so far.

I have been using a variety of different Vitamin C Serums over the past year... some are better than others. I read the reviews on this product so I thought i'd give it a try. It cam on time and well packaged. It has a nice scent and the product soaks in very quickly. My only complaint is that it does not seem to have any type of moisturizing effect like the others I've tried. I bought this for help with dark spots so I will update this review if anything great happens in that regard and I will just continue to use a moisturizer with this product.

I had very sensitive skin, and get really dry during summer. This product just come at a right time. Really hydrate my skin, and free comfortable. Will need more days to see a visible result, but so far I like it.

I bought this because I was in the market for a new Vitamin C serum and at the price, it was worth giving a try before folding and buying some of the more popular options that are priced in the $80 range. After 10 days of continual use, I can definitely say this is causing breakouts that I previously did not have and irritation/redness that I never have with other Vitamin C serums. I do not have sensitive skin that gets red easily from products that are too strong. And I'm lucky to not have any regularly occurring acne. This vitamin C serum caused redness, blotchiness, and acne in the spots I would initially apply this to on my face before patting all over. After discontinuing use, the redness has disappeared entirely and the breakouts are subsiding. I don't know what is in this stuff that is causing this reaction, but I guess I'll chalk it up to a lesson learned and just move on to a more expensive, but well tested option.

Love! I have very sensitive skin and this is day 4 using this product at night. I wake up with my skin hydrated and feeling very smooth.

I've been using this product for 1 week now. It tightens and hydrates my skin. The serum absorbs well. I have had no allergic reactions including redness, stinging, swelling when using this product. This has become one of my regular skin products.
