Very tasty
I have used it so many times when I make Hainanese chicken for my family and they all like it. I only add it to my rice when I cook it so I don't have to use as much chicken oil. I personally would add extra scallions and ginger for the extra flavor.

Delicious
This product is as close as you can get for Hainanese chicken rice. I lived in Singapore during my school years and chicken rice has always been my go to meal.I reduced the water ratio since I prefer drier rice. As another viewer mentioned, I placed the ingredient on top of the chicken instead of the rice. Delicious!!

A taste of home
Well, not quite a hawker centre in Singapore, but given the ease of putting this together was pleasantly surprised.

Don't follow the recipe for adding the water, just add half cup more then you usually do your rice.
We love it, so simple to cook, I made it today for our dinner and for my daughter family at her house before she came home from work, it's smell so good as soon as she walks in her house.

easy to use Hainanese rice. Stop the pain of the whole process and use this shortcut.
found this item in Toronto and I fell in love with this. I tried to do it with a whole chicken and cut the fat, cook it and the whole process. Took too long. This is a breeze to use. Cook the rice normally and add this paste and mix it. Cool normally and you can add chicken pieces on top to cook alongside, but i use one whole scallion to add more flavor to the rice and little salt too. Comes nice and flavorful.

Easy & tasty!
My husband is from Penang, Malaysia and he said this tasted like the real deal! I put raw chicken piece on top of washed rice, put the sauce on top and cooked it all in the rice cooker (I did add some garlic and scallions for additional flavor). Super easy and so tasty! You can mix a little bit of lite soy sauce with sesame oil to use as dipping sauce for the chicken :) this sauce is good for about 2 cups of raw rice + 2-3 pieces of chicken thigh meat. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!

Authentic, great taste
As a Singaporean living in the states, I am so glad to find these on Amazon. These are pretty close to the Hainanese chicken rice you get in Singapore. If you have a rice cooker, all you need to do is mix it with the rice, add water and you get fragrant delicious chicken rice in minutes. I typically use two packs for 3 cups of rice. For the chicken, I boil a whole chicken in large pot till it is completely cooked, then drizzle sesame oil on the chicken right before serving. I serve the chicken rice with nonya achar (cucumber, carrot and pineapple salad) and a dipping sauce of dark soya sauce, minced ginger and garlic chili sauce. Both my husband and son love this dish too. Absolutely delicious comfort food...
