Genuine Honda 83280-SNA-A01ZE Sun Visor Assembly, Left

Like most 8th Gen Civic owners, my driver's side visor had seen better days and was splitting at the joint that slides in and out of the clip, and was also getting very hard to rotate down to block the sun. This was a real issue for me because I was also using the visor to hold a sunshade in the windshield everyday at work to keep my interior from getting roasted. This visor has been excellent and bolts right into the stock location with 2 screws. I figure if I got 12 years of service out of the original visor, this was a reasonable price to pay for another 12 (hopefully).

Absolutely perfect! I was having problems with my visor falling down. I looked on the Honda site and they were asking over $100 for a new visor! I'd rather just live with my floppy visor. Decided to check Amazon, and there it was...exactly what I needed at almost half price! Easy to exchange old for new. A plastic clip over top and two screws underneath. Easy! The only thing is that the new visor only came with one screw, which wasn't a big deal since there were screws attaching my busted visor to the car. If you are taking your old visor of while you wait for the new one to arrive, just make sure you keep your screws, it will save you the headache of finding the right replacement size when you need that extra screw. I have a '09 Civic Si in Pearl Black. I purchased the light warm grey color and it matched the interior perfectly.

I have a 2011 Honda Civic Coupe EX with a gray interior and this replacement fit and looks fine. I purchased the Warm Gray color and it might be a bit darker than the original gray color, but you seriously can’t tell once it’s installed. It blends in with the gray roof just fine. I know that Atlas Gray is way darker than Warm Gray by looking at Shopulator’s picture in the customer reviews.I looked up my car by VIN on a Honda parts site and it said that the part number for the visor was 83280-SNA-A01ZE and the color code was NH686L, so I must have the right one.

OEM fit

It was perfect to replace the old one that had went bad. The crummy thing is it's identical design so will do the same over time, which others have also found.I guess you could modify it a bit and may do that when it fails again.Color was good, it's newer so of course may not match perfect due to fade etc.

I liked that this new unit matches the original perfectly. Appears well build, generally, but don't believe the original issue that caused me to need a new one (poor design of the friction mechanism that fails eventually) is fixed in this replacement unit. I did find a YOUTUBE on how to strengthen the friction fitting (simple fix) and will keep in the back of my mind if I should ever need it with this new one.

The visor itself was fine but one of the screws was missing when it was delivered. Fortunately, I still kept the old visor so I just reused the old screw. Also, I didn't see the sheet with the 4 step replacement instructions in the box that other users were mentioning. It was easy enough to figure it out and you can find YouTube videos easily so it was not a problem though. Over all, it works fine and was delivered on time so I'm happy with the purchase.

Bad: Came in slightly broken, the tab that hooks into the roof and acts as a bit of support was broken clean off. Not surprising as it came packaged in only a loose fitting plastic sheet and a couple pieces of bubble wrap. Also only came with ONE screw, so its a good thing i kept the ones from my previous visor just in case.Good: Shipped out fast and had it in a few days. Even though it was slightly broken, it was still easy to install and im hoping that the screws will be enough to hold it in place.

Sun visor came as advertised - "Original Equipment". Easy to remove broken visor and install new one. No need to buy from dealer - higher cost, nor have the dealer install.

Work well for my Civic 2010. Perfectly fit.
