This works exactly like I wanted it to, perfect for what I needed it for. My car has bluetooth media connection, but unlike most bluetooth media players there's no way to skip songs! No button on the dash or the steering wheel that works through the bluetooth connection! (There are such buttons for cds, but they do not work for connected phones.) Of course there's going to be songs I don't want to listen to at the moment, of course I need to be able to skip, and OF COURSE I don't EVER want to mess with my phone while I'm driving! When I bought this I was a little worried about connecting this remote and the car both to the bluetooth at the same time, but it works wonderfully! The buttons are raised so I don't ever have to look away from the road, just as if I was pressing a button on my dash. I'm also finding it's great for when I'm working on projects and my phone's hooked up for some motivation music. This way I can skip songs I'm not feeling, pause whenever someone interrupts and needs to talk to me, and adjust volume! It's great for taking hands free pictures too! I am so glad I bought this! I use it so much I never want to go back to a remote-less existence.

I purchased the Fire TV gaming edition. My 70-year-old mother has a bit of a hard time using the gamepad to control the Fire TV. Too many buttons, a little overcomplicated for her.The Fire TV remote, both versions, seem to always be sold out - Or in the case of the voice remote, forever 2-3 months until it's once again in stock - Add to that it's thirty bucks! Sheesh! They both also have just okay reviews/ratings. So I took a chance and picked up this Century Accessory "BRC-100" remote.I'm happy to report that the BRC-100 indeed syncs with the Fire TV! Setup was easy, and most of all my mother is pleased. :)Now as for functionality, the top media-playing buttons (black circle) seem to automatically open up and control the Fire music app. However, when you've opened whatever video streaming app, it seems to work as it should.The little black button with "siri" printed on it functions as the "HOME" button.Rating it at four stars only because I just got it and I need to gauge the battery life. I also don't like that it has an on/off button. Why? My mother will never remember to turn it off, and I feel like the power will drain rather quickly, and will need to start buying CR2032 batteries in bulk. I guess we'll see.

This device's connectivity button is terrible. No where in the directions does it tell you that you have to use something to press down the connectivity button. The first one I got I kept pressing and nothing. It was then replaced and I noticed the same thing. I used a pen to press it down and FINALLY I got the red blinking light. Once connected it works well.

These are my initial comments after receiving the device and setting it up. Setup took a little patience because the pairing button cannot be pressed with your fingers- you'll need to push the button ALL the way down inside with a bluntly pointed object like a pen or an unsharpened pencil. Once the pairing is complete, I had no issues with how the buttons behaved or the behavior of my device. I was pleasantly surprised that remote control was solid from 60 feet away, through several walls. My rating for battery life is N/A because I just got it. Value for the money is 4/5 stars because the construction is minimalist- for this price, this should be a larger more durable box employing two AAA batteries to ensure longevity and survivability after a fall from waist high. Overall, a good purchase.

I bought this device a year ago when I upgraded to an android phone and started playing my music through my car speakers using it. I never liked dividing my attention away from the road/wheel to look at my device to hit send and with the recent Android updates, the lockscreen's music controls have gotten so microscopic, this exercise became even more dangerous so I looked into a bluetooth device that I could control without having to divert my eyes.I bought this, my first ever bluetooth remote and for the first few months it connected effortlessly and worked like a charm. All I really needed from it was to skip tracks, pause when needed and adjust the volume, a task this thing did effortlessly despite not being able to rewind tracks (Technically you could do this using the direction bottoms on the bottom, but requires a bit more effort and wasn't available when the phone was locked) it was a very handy tool that I took everywhere.Had it continued to work like it did, this would have definitely been a 5 star product, but now I've got to go into the reason I took two stars off, connectivity issues. When I first got it, it worked quite fine, connected whenever I needed it to and despite forgetting to turn it off (switch at the back) at certain times, the battery lasted for months and the thing worked flawlessly. Now I used this everyday, so it saw hundreds of button presses, most noticeably the "Skip" button, so when that started to act up, I didn't feel anyway about it, I just made an concerted effort to press it down a bit harder or mash it to the point where the rubber or whatever underneath got back into place and it worked quite fine.....then it started disconnecting from my phone. Alot.Now I figured this was because the battery was dying, seeing as to how I had it now for months without ever changing. So when I did change the battery and started to use it again, it worked fine for a few days....then it started disconnecting all the time and re-connecting when it felt like it on it's own and no matter how many times I manually reconnected it to my phone, it would disconnect, fresh battery and all. I've given up on it and while I feel like I should give another one of these a chance since It's simple to use and cheap, I honestly don't want to be back here again feeling tempted to go back to my old and dangerous ways before I got this. Looks like I'm not the only one that has the same problem with this and I'm appreciative that mine lasted as long as it did. So...buy with caution.

J’ai acheté cette télécommande pour piloter une tablette Samsung sous Android, notamment l’application Spotify.Je dois dire que cette petite télécommande marche super bien.Je peux faire sur les tracks de mes playlists les fonctions Suivant, Précédent, Play, Pause, et régler le volume qui respecte même les pas d’incrémentation / décrémentation personnalisés qu’on peut définir avec d’autres applications.Elle permet aussi de déclencher la prise de vue de l’application d’appareil photo.Les flèches permettent de naviguer dans les applications.Dans un jardin, et sans aucune obstacle entre la tablette et la télécommande, la portée est d’environ de 40 mètres, ce qui considérable.Une fois l’appairage réalisé une fois, la reconnexion depuis l’état de télécommande éteinte s’effectue en allumant la télécommande au dos et en appuyant sur une touche.Si on n’utilise pas la télécommande pendant environ 10 minutes, elle se déconnecte (sans doute pour économiser la pile plate fournie), mais en appuyant sur une touche voulue, la télécommande se reconnecte automatiquement puis effectue l’opération demandée.Ce délai est trop court : c'est le seul défaut de cette télécommande. Ils auraient dû le mettre à 30 minutes. Espérons qu'ils corrigerons cela dans la prochaine version.Au final, un bon petit produit, bien pratique, ne tenant pas de place, et qui fait le job à merveille.Je recommande sans l’ombre d’une hésitation ce produit très agréable !

Ich benutze die Fernbedienung um Videos am iPad zu pausieren, lauter, leiser zu stellen, nächstes Video uvm. und das funktioniert einwandfrei.

I have Poweramp App for music set up on my fire Hd which is connected to a small amplifier via a "you know what" cast plugged into the back of the amp. This remote allows me to stop, start, skip, fast forward, change volume. I can even scroll through the menus of the app and do almost everything I normally would do using the touch screen on the fire HD. I didn't want to spend £700 on a new Brennan player after my old one gave up the ghost. I now have a larger screen which can be controlled by this handy little remote. I haven't found anything on the market anywhere, that can do this. The build quality could be better as it feels small in the hand but it does the job I want it to do. £700 vs £25, it's a no brainer. I hope this review helps people who are fed up with shouting, A**XA play........ A**XA play........ A**XA play.
