The manual override is easily accessible
Timers are great, able to set for twice a day, morning and evening. Unlike some timers that I tried the manual button is easy to access to turn lamps on and off at any time. The only negative that I found is that they are hard to set for the exact minute but they are very close so for using it for lamps it is not a problem.

Solid item thru the years
This has always been a good item. I have had them over the years but it is not as precise as a digital one if you need this to go on/off at exactly the same time every day. It is too easy to knock the dial a bit (time) if you touch it but if 1-5 minutes either way doesn't matter, it works great and is reliable. If the power goes out, you will have to adjust the time for the lost minutes. If digital is not your thing, this is 5 stars.

I love these timers!!
Intermatic has been manufacturing mechanical/electric timers for decades and i have purchased several of them. Just bought two more for expanding our Christmas lights around the house. I have a couple that must be 30 years old or maybe more and newer ones purchased in more recent times. All of them are still working not one has ever failed. I like the mechanical design as it is easy to program. I have purchased a couple of electrical timers from other manufacturers and they have been difficult and frustrating to program and their life span was short. Maybe a year or so.

Not good at turning off at scheduled time
I purchased this time to put my christmas tree light on a timer. So I would not have to plug and unplug them every night. The time was set to come on at 5pm and go off at 9pm. Some nights it would go off at the Scheduled time, but for the most part it would not. Maybe I just got a faulty timer ⏲️ and because of this I can't really give it a 5 star. If I could I would give it a half of a star.
